Morning David and the rest of the DisDads team!

Whew, yesterday was a long day. Had to stay late for meetings, went long on the first one, had to talk to my manager before the start of the 2nd, missed the first 15 minutes of the 2nd (which is my area) so I just skipped it. Got out of here about and hour and 20 minutes later than normal.

Yesterday evening was the first day of the running club at the Y, so they did 3.5 miles. I made it to almost 2 before I had to start walking. Nothing is so embarrassing as being run into the ground by 2 older women.

Hope to day is better, supposed to grab some lunch with Don if plans hold up.

Matt

Matt, keep your head up :thumbsup2

‘Morning all…

We went to the towns Night Against Crime tonight, son had a Great time:cool1:, but something threw me BIG TIME my wife won something from a radio station:confused3 It is Happy Hour at a big bar a few towns over for 40 people:thumbsup2

I don't know the details yet, but if drinks are included, the people I know can probably make the place go broke in a hour, or it would be the last time they will do it:rotfl:

Well that’s one way to get 40 people off the street…

…for a while.

Congrats on another win.
Sounds like y’all will be having quite the party.

What day is mentally punch your boss repeatedly day?

Why today of course.

Even better... according to my calendar it’s not a “day” but a whole season, and appears to go indefinitely.

Embarrassed?
I don’t think so. That’s two miles farther then I ran yesterday.

Morning Brian!

Are you excited about something? I detect just a hint of excitement...:rolleyes1

Hey! You can't go changing avatars! That totally throws me off! :lmao:

Warning. I'm changing mine after October trip.

You had me at "carry a lantern"...awesome.
,

The two miler was rough. That one sounds even more difficult.

I was pretty bummed about missing the opening of the expansion, but gives me a good reason to plan a trip before my DD starts school next year, also I can hitch a ride with Norm on their next trip, whatca say haha

I call my Pontic Aztec the tumbler from Batman. It only seats 5, but you can ride on the roof. Your dd can sit inside - I'm not cruel. The minivan is close to 200K and we don't take it anymore.

On my 2nd travel mug of coffee for the morning, so things are already looking up!:lmao:

Matt

Not even my first cup yet.

In the words of Homer Simpson on this first day of school, " Woohoo, you're the government's problem".

10 Days!!!!

:cool1:

Oh, and morning dads...

Bet it seems like 100 days about now.

In the words of Homer Simpson on this first day of school, " Woohoo, you're the government's problem".

Just left the realm of free public education to the not very free realm of "higher" education. Wrote the fist semester check to Seton Hall. That includes tuition, housing, computer fees, meal plan, fees because we feel like adding fees.... Hope they notice the dried tears on the check.

10 Days!!!!

Your math is off a bit.
The end of the world is not until Dec 21 of this year.

In the words of Homer Simpson on this first day of school, " Woohoo, you're the government's problem".

:lmao:

I’ve not heard that one.

I think it’s more likely that they’d notice the one without those particular stains.
I’ve got one more year before I get to start writing those tear jerkers.
:sad1:

Everybody on earth dies and goes to heaven.
God comes and says "I want the men to make two lines.
One line for the men that dominated their women on earth
and the other line for the men that were whipped by their women.
Also, I want all the women to go with St Peter."

Said and done, the next time God looks the women are gone
and there are two lines.
The line of the men that were whipped was 100 miles long,
on the line of men that dominated women there was only one man.

God got mad and said. "You men should be ashamed of yourselves.
I created you in my image, and you were all whipped by your mates.
Look at the only one of my sons that stood up and made me proud.
Learn from him!"
Tell them my son how did you manage to be the only one on that line?
The man said, "I don't know.
My wife told me to stand here."

:lmao::rotfl2:

We'll be there for opening day of fantasyland! I guess that's good, but I was kind of hoping it would be open a few Weeks before we're there. Unfortunately, we really didn't have mk time scheduled at the end of the week so it looks like some juggling is going to have to be done so we can be there on the 6th. We might get a few mk hours the morning of the 7th too before we head out.

Great that you get to see it, not so great that it'll be packed to the gills. We'll expect a full report, of course.

Oh, good. I celebrated on time. :thumbsup2

Ouch. Someday I want a job where I can charge people "convenience" fees, etc.

Morning Gents.

I'm in the office for a couple of hours before heading out to watch some fastpitch nationals followed by some more basketball nationals but I wanted to start you all off with a little something:

I've missed a thread or 2, but I'm still here. 2 weeks ago, mt DY said we were done with Disney for a while. She said at least 3 years. I said okay.

2 weeks ago, She said we should go to Disneyland. I said "sounds GREAT!"

Yesterday, she said, "oh, we should go to Disney World and take my brother and his family with us. And, my dad wants to go too."

So... now i'm researching 2 Art of Animation suites vs. 3 All Star Movies rooms. (The kids would like to stay at either Cars suites or Toy Story rooms).

My heart wants to go back to AoA, my wallet would probably prefer All Star.

But how do you NOT want to wake up & see this pool?

That's what's going on in my Disney World. Anyone else? Someone's leaving soon I saw?

Well, to be completely honest, we wanted to get a dinner ADR for BoG, but I don't see how I can feasibly fit it into our plans right now without some MAJOR changes. We'd like to eat a CS meal there, and I was hoping to do both, but for the first 2 - 3 days it is open, I think we'll just see how packed it is and decide when we're there. We don't have a whole lot of interest in Belle and Ariel M&G's either, so probably we'll just ride the Mermaid ride and explore a little bit.:confused3
