CJ I have had you on my mind the last few days. I know this has to be a hard thing for you! I am already dreading the day that I have to do the same thing!

They all grow up. We did it and went off on our own. Their kids will do the same. I've tried to live every moment and enjoy them. In a way it will be hard, in another way it will be interesting for both of us. She gets to experience college, I plan on doing some traveling. Will miss seeing her mug every day though.

Hate to hear about hurricane. Glad You made it safely.

So do I Norm. Not much I can do other than get someone to shutter the house and hope. The tough part is that I am not there.

Great. Turn on the news and find a hurricane has a chance of hitting S. Florida. Knew it was going to happen. I have been away from the house for every hurricane that landed in S. Florida. When Andrew came ashore, I was in San Fran. Tomorrow have to call a person who does handy work for me and see if she can close the shutters and bring the stuff in from outside.

Will have to keep an eye on it and maybe hall butt back to S. Florida.

Here's to hoping it takes a turn and misses S Fla. Will be praying CJ, good luck.

"Dinner"
A gift from our friends at Moms who drink and swear

Enjoy!!!

Patiently waiting....

Hope you get it in before the rain!

Classic Disdad effort. Post a lot. Read little.

Don't talk about PMs with Don.

Personally, I skip DHS. I enjoy having a couple days off to relax and enjoy my resort. Chef's table at V&A is 3 hour + meal. Jealous.

Doggy doo doo don't. Hate to hear that.

Sounds good. Remember, you get into MNSSHP at 4.

Without the multi quotes, this stretch is even more profound! We're going to need a new feature. Words of Wisdom from Norm

Hang in there, CJ! Hope the storm isn't too bad down there!

ok I swear I put the picture in my last post and the insert shows when I try and edit. Well I hope you can all see the bacon and white wine in my previuos post.

Who knows what Isaac is going to do. Right now it is a tropical storm and there best guess is that it will increase to a Cat 1. Wide "cone" where it will make landfall. Been through lots of these and am in wait and see mode. The thing that bothers me is that I am not down there and able to do anything that needs to be done.

Drove around trying to find someplace to eat. Found a crab place but the Vegetarian didn't find anything on the menu. Too bad, Maryland crab sounded good. We did find a Mexican place that was really good. Who knew.

Hi all - crap, I went away for a bit to do actual work and I missed 20 pages. So Norm had ownage? Barry and some dads took Disney photos? Donald has a new macbook? George the CPA said hi a few times? Did I miss anything?

A gas shortage and a flock of seagulls and that's...about...it.... :lmao:

We got home, a little overheated, way too tired, but full of great memories. All are tored, felt like we did EMH at MK, except me spent more $$ for it :lmao: Going to carry the girls to their beds and pass out myself. Hope everyone had a great day.

nice seats. I wish they still had the preshow entertainment. Makes the waiting more bearable.

Had no idea that Maryland had good Mexican food.

Haven't been posting much... seems like I can't get a moment to myself unless it's late at night. So many things on the "to do" list. Biggest concern is the bank account/bills. DW won't get paid again until mid September. I have to wait til friday for my first check since we got back... sad part is that all that money is earmarked for bills, but I won't want to pay them right away because that will drain the account again!! :lmao:

Washing machine won't get replaced until late september at the earliest, so that means more trips to the laundromat.

saw a Dateline report over the weekend where they caught repairmen trying to pull one over on a customer. 4 different companies and they all tried to get her to pay for things she didn't need. Makes me afraid to call any repairman... for anything!

wasn't in a good mood most of today... I think I am suffering from PDD. (Post-Disney-Depression)

Top of the morning guys :thumbsup2

I 2nd Docs idea about a new feature " words of Wisdom from Norm". I think it will be rather short :lmao:

Morning Dave and everyone else!

Its hump day, one of my busy "meeting days" again. Hope everyone is fine and those at the world are enjoying themselves!

Matt
