For the record, I am off work the next two days with nothing than a dr appt for oldest to get cast off tomorrow. I could really run up that post count and close this thing. However, I choose not to. I think I hear my dds stirring. Maybe I can take them for some sushi today.

Me too... except the Dr.s appt... :lmao:

Watched Masterchef last night (on PVR)

So had to make eggs this morning... got this crazy craving for 6 eggs done 4 ways. :lmao:

Do it for my sanity.

That's the only thing holding me back...

:rotfl:

We could always live vicariously through the pics....

I'm not advocating having kids play in the storms. Personally, I never was a big fan of playing in the rain. But, when you can see that the storm has blown over and it is clear where the storm was, you look on the radar and see ther are no more storms, I think it is safe odds that the storm is not going to put itself in reverse. The game was scheduled at 6, we waited to 7, the storm blew over, and finally called at 8:00. The softball field has lights, but no go.

I love playing soccer in the rain....cool, and you can slide tackle from like 20 yards away:lmao::lmao: However, lightening sends Mikey to the truck. I don't deal with it at all. I've been so close to it while fishing that I've had graphite rods start humming and had monofilament line "float" above the water because of static---you know it's time to go then. Central Florida is *NOT* the place to be on the water during a thunderstorm. Unfortunately, many have found this out the hard way:worried:

I'd like to take you up on that one day. Hopefully, I can shorten that commute before your retire or transfer to a desk job so I can shoot with you.

Well...I'm in a desk job, but every now and then the let Uncle Melvin out...

Careful. That's how it starts. Cool pictures and ownage.

I agree, softball and baseball are difficult to play in the rain but you do need to use some common sense when watching the weather.
