Heck, the days DW and dds try my patience are days of the week. Don't let that be a buffer to return.
...

:rotfl: There must be something in the water in KY, I have that problem as well.

... I don't have a Disney problem. My Disney addiciton is just fine the way it is. Feeding that addiciton is the problem. My name is Chris and I have an independently wealthy problem....

:lmao:
I wouldn't have any problem trying to be interdependently wealthy if someone wanted to bankroll me.

I ignore most of their stuff. The youngest is the super slow one - in getting dressed, eating, etc. My oldest is like Dug in Up when someone yells squirrel. Both are sarcastic and talk all the time. DW yells at them (& me) to speed up, pay attention, stop mouthing, etc. I pretty much just tune out the drama except when the dds start slapping each other. Then, I guess I'm compelled to intervene.

My oldest 9 is that way but my youngest 7, then 6, did all mountins last trip. Sho was so mad that she was to short for RR last trip I had to distract her with a pressed penny machine.

Exactly like my youngest as well.... The only thing he didn't go on (he was 6 then) was ToT, he made it to the front of the line, and chickened out just as we were boarding.

He promises he will go on it "next time" which is in August..... shhhh, don't tell him. ;)

what have I missed today while i was working???

Just now getting to settle in to dinner....Pork pulled BBQ and cole slaw on the menu!! Im starving!!

Mine have never chickened out. They are more of a thrill seeker like me, which is also a future worry. DW occasionally will ride soarin, but most of the time, sits out. When she does ride, she keeps her eyes closed all the time. So, it's just me and my girls on some of the rides, and they have been on all of them at WDW. Mine will start hitting and kicking each other and my youngest will only eat chicken. That's about it.

Billing Steve ownage.

Not much. We all voted to add on a summer convention and nominated you to fund our excursion. Thanks n advance.

Hi, my name is Mark, and I am also joining the Funky Bunch. Wait, that didn't come out right.

:lmao:

Always amazing to see how many "experts" there are out there willing to tell me how to do my job. If your complaint starts, "I'm not an expert, but..." do me a favor and just stop right there.

You could set up an untrackable email to reply:
"Dear "Not an Expert"
We tried your idea, three workers were seriously injured, I hope you're happy, their blood is on your hands.

P.S. Your little idea just delayed the project until July 5th."

This to me is funny.

Wow!!! A petition with 500 signatures... all complaining about you??? You should feel honored.:lmao: :rotfl:

By the way... Isn't that the entire population of Delaware? :confused3

This was too funy not to repost.
I feel your pain. It has been a long time and still a long time before I get back. I don't have to worry about commercials here either, no TV.

sometimes, not often but sometimes, I wish I didn't have a TV.

How 'bout them Blues, huh? (someone was talking about the Leafs i thought)

...

hi scott !!

Hey Zerfs!

...One of the best arguments in favor of DVC.

Speaking of DVC, I was reading in Scott's trip report (yes, Scott- you read that right) that he had 5 in a studio in BLT. How does one pull that off? I thought only 4 were allowed.

One child is under 3.

Yep. That's how we pulled it off. Unfortunately, that's the last time we will be able to do it. Next time we'd have to look at a deluxe with a sleeper chair or something.

For a day off I didn't really get much done today, except running around, I was waiting in line at 9:30 at Toys R Us to get the set of 3 new Legendary Skylanders for my son, then it was off to the Dentist for a cleaning, that turned out to also be a cavity filled (next person cancelled so might as well get her done in one shot:thumbsup2) still have to go back to get a crown on a tooth where a old filling is falling apart, but I have a really good dental plan so it will not cost anything:cool1:

Then we got my son's Baseball uniform, his team is the Yankees and today we found out his number:confused3, His Grandfather was really happy to hear he got #13, he got one of the highest paid players # A-Rod:thumbsup2

Then I got to do about a hour of yard work:headache: I need a few days worth of time, all the running around I get to do on my days off I'll never get done, and then my wife will crack out, so what did you do today:eek::headache::lmao:

Then it was time to cook dinner, Jersey Shore dinner for the night was foot long 1/4lb hot dogs on a sub rol cooked on the grilll:thumbsup2 After dinner off to Karate, Next week after dinner is my son's 1st game, I'm not a big sports fan but I'll be there and be his biggest fan:woohoo:

FINALLY HOME. Went to work, place was a mess, something about Wednesday brings out the lazy in people there.:sad2:. They had less to do then yesyerday, but got nothing done. Boss admitted he was no impressed with them today. I skipped dinner, got everything caught up, so all was good. I was suppose to train some people on some stuff, that didn't happen. End of the night drama as safe wouldn;t balance and neither would a cashier. :scared1: If safe is off I am responsible for it. Got it all figured out and fixed, but they owe me an hour somewhere.:headache: Two more days and I get a weekend off..

The only issue I had was with DD first trip, when she didn't want to go on most attractions, as she is not the bravest cub in the pack. We had to sit her down (at 6 years old) and tell her that her drama was enough. We wont put her on anything that she won't enjoy. We know hr limitations, and she needs to trust us. She has never been on an MK mountain. Her limit was pressed on Tedt Track. But she still has a great time, and goes with the flow. And we generally do full days open - close.

Ah, Disney drama. Usually, every trip, Amelia has drama issues, upswt etc, but she probably gets worn out. Back in October 2010, a few major meltdowns, and fear issues, even on rides she's done before and even got sick while at Epcot, where we pushed her in her sister's stroller. It was Audrey's first trip, she was freaked by everything, lost it at Hall of Presidents :confused3: We worked on building Audrey for last August, and were not prepared for the heat/humidity like we thought we were. despite all that, girls hada blast and conquered all their fears, and barely complained, even as we melted in the heat. Guess it just took time. :confused3

Why would you do something so terrible?

Eh, they pay me to do it. :rotfl2:

:lmao:

:lmao:

glad your feeling better. hows the dog? :rolleyes1

Apparently the dog's "volunteered" to be a test pilot fir North Korea. :rolleyes1

Oldest gets transfixed by TV...very slow to get ready, and zones out in a snap. she is already developing a teenager's attitude on some things. :sad2: Heaven help us.:headache:

I've often wondered who has more energy, a 5 yrd old hopped up on candy and magic, or a seasoned 19 yr old park hopper? Take good notes and let me know how it goes!

Morning....didn't I just go to bed? I am starting to hate evening shifts:faint:

They have their ups and downs. I liked them because no one was around to bother me.

I did 12 hr shifts 7 days a week for 2 months at a time for about 5 yrs.

I like not having the boss around, essentially I am the boss when I do evenings. There are more customers, but less work technically, as it is just clean-up stuff. I used to look forward to it (it also means I get Saturday off :thumbsup2) but I also have to get up at 6am regardless, so not much sleep time. By Friday I'm the walking dead. Right now the cycle is every three weeks I am on nights. I did an eight month stint of 11pm-7:30am before kids, but those shifts don't exist anymore except Christmas time.

Once I get back from dropping Amelia off from school, I'll have a little nap before work.
