He'd probably give the shark rabies.

That isn't exactly what you want to hear your doctor say. :sad2:

He suggested that the collarbone might be broken. And there isn't a whole lot you can do but immobilize it for a while. Seems a lot like when I broke my ribs. Wrapped an ace bandage in something like a sling to keep it stable. Tough to type with 1 hand.

And I am going diving this weekend. You don't use your arms to swim and I can hold a camera with 1 arm. If I can't I will murder the mutt. But then again, I already had his doghood taken away. Maybe this was revenge.

Did you ask him about that noise your butt was making too? :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I wonder how many people got to WDW, ate a big dinner at Le Cellier the night before the race and then said "screw it" when the alarm went off the next morning before the non-refundable part was implemented? :confused3
...

I doubt it. You know how crazy these runners are!

Good thing that boyfriend thing worked out well. It may make firing that shotgun a little trickier.

...
Called the doc. "Your shoulder is making what kind of noise? If you don't go to the ER tonight, come here tomorrow morning." Will tough it out and see him in the morning....He suggested that the collarbone might be broken. And there isn't a whole lot you can do but immobilize it for a while. :headache: Hope it is just age creaking and not something broken.

So, DW made red beans and rice for dinner tonight. Unbeknown to her, I added in some Cajun spices with tobasco. As she was eating, she said that the food was really hot. I said that I added the heat, to which she grinned and said, with those bedroom eyes, you bring the heat, baby. Laughing, I said that I really added the spices. Unfortunately, she wasn't crying from the laughter. I guess I really did bring the heat. Who else likes their food spicy?

I'm into BBQ, but my wife's family is from Puerto Rico so when there is a get together at her families side, I have to watch what I eat, to me most everything is spicy some really spicy even the ribs:eek:

But when I have a BBQ at my house and family members from my wife's side come, it is sure to be a full house, our BBQ's average 75 - 100 people, and that's inviting only close friends, we had one once that over 300 people showed through the day, we got the street blocked off and everything, her family wanted BBQ, my friend and family wanted spanish food, needless to say when all is said and done there is no such thing as leftovers:rotfl2:

Yeah, but Norm's wife was looking at him with bedroom eyes, telling him how "hot" it was....

I am not that hungry Norm... ;)

hey guys....how has it been going???

Well, tonight Shari and I are winners of the parents of the year awards!!!!!

At baseball practice the other night coach was yelling at Ethan. Ethan stood there oblivious to anything. It occured to me that it was if he was not hearing him. Afterwards I asked him and he had NO idea that coach was even talking to him until the end. Made an appointment for him to see ENT yesterday and I guess all of the ear infections he has had recently have not cleared up and he has severe hearing loss on the left and moderate to severe on the right. The left ear drum is not moving and there is a ton of fluid trapped. He is going to have to have tuves up in for the third time ASAP. Now, this particular doc only does surgery on day a month at our hospital and the insurance wont pay for it unless we have it at our place. Hoping that the poor fella can get added on next Friday but I am not hopeful and looks like it might not be until memorial day Weekend!!! yep horrible parent I am!!!! This could even explain some of the drop in grades that he has had at school!!! Grrr I wish I had noticed sooner and not let it get this far!!! Stupid stupid stupid!!! Peanutbutter and Beverly with a capital B!!

Come on Steve... You and I know that none of this "horrible parent" talk is true.

You identified the problem by paying attention to him at practice. Maybe the teacher's shoulda identified it in class.

As for Ethan... Hopes and prayers that he get's it looked after safely and promptly.

Drive him up here to Canada... our health care is free... ;) That doesn't guarantee getting him in any quicker though.

You got a point there, maybe we should find out how much he added:rotfl2:

Not your fault and when you noticed something, you are taking care of it. Hope the little guy feels better soon.

Bambi had some of those about 5 days before she actually went into labor. I was constantly checking my cell phone's battery to make sure it was fully charged if the call came.

Tell me about it. Bambi went to work that morning, started feeling mild contractions, met with a client, then went to the hospital. :scared1:

DW had pre-labor contractions for 12 days with our last one. She finally had 'real' labor at 6 p.m. on August 31, and gave birth at 7:00 a.m. on Sept 1st. She started her new job on Sept 6th.:scared1:
Talk about something I would NOT do. She's so much better than me.

CJ - sorry 'bout the arm. I too am "blessed" with dogs I never requested. Now we have 2, and yay for me, I get to pick up after them before I mow.

Finally, if anyone wants to feel lazy, they should stop by here sometime. DW did all the finish work in our 2nd bathroom, including hanging drywall, installing wall tile, floor tiles, and painting.
Then she just decided she didn't like the walls in the other bathroom, and installed subway tile in that bathroom "just because" this last Sunday.

I'm never allowed to complain about being busy, because I'm never as busy as the DW.
