Cigars are purely a golf thing for me. I've probably only had 25 in my life but most have been on the golf course.

last night at work, some of the bigwigs came up to NY for a visit. One of them introduced himself and promptly said, "I hear you have some great ideas for improving the show."

in my head: Um... do I? Of course I do. I just need time to think of them.

I am not sure if someone actually told them something to this effect, or if it was just a management tactic. They are here for the next couple of nights, so I'll be a little better prepared this evening.

I used to smoke cigars fairly regularly. Relaxing outside with beer and cigar was enjoyable. Last time I tried that, my dd asked if I was going to die from smoking? So, no more for awhile. But, it looks everywhere is going to ban smoking soon enough.

My father was a professor at a catholic university, which enabled my sisters and I to go to college at any partnering universities (there were about 100 or so in the country) for free... This led to many family members asking the same thing as CJ... It's a great deal...

That would work too. I am sure both Seaton Hall and St. Johns were on that list.

One of the reasons I stay. It doesn't include food or books, and only one child at a time. But, with a 2 year age difference, I have 6 years of college covered. Hopefully, they'll keep that benefit for another decade.

Think it can go thru before semester starts? Would your FL girl want a degree from KY?

I went out today and bought myself some new office supplies. I don't know why, but I've always just enjoyed office supply stores. Weird, I know. I needed a new pair of scissors, and a pen holder. DW said why don't you just use one of your many, many, many Disney mugs for that? I just looked at her like she was from Mars. I'm not going to soil perfectly good Disney mugs with stinkin' pens & pencils.
