The Sanford flights were around $180 - $200.

Then a rental car woulda' end up costing me 'bout the same (maybe even a bit more).

Watching the tournaments. Tim, UConn gave Syracuse a run for a while. The Georgetown/Cincy game is interesting. OT.

I have no idea what happened to UCONN's offense the last 6-8 minutes. They had a good thing going then it went down the crapper.

sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I don't think any of the food at WDW has ever caused me problems. I ate a Pecos Bill burger every trip as a kid.

I did have a stomach bug once and ended up visiting the bathrooms in every country of the World Showcase. that was a different kind of "around the world" game... and not as fun.

No, I haven't been on much. I have not heard what the results are from the background check other than the company said I do not have any aliases they could find, nor any type of criminal record. The Postmaster (or is it still Postmistress for a female??) said she wanted to hire me if I passed everything else. I have not heard back from the Post Office though. I did apply for two other positions that are more hours. Thanks for asking.

Question for the Assembly: There are rooms available at SSR, BWV, AKV, OKW, & VWL. Stay at SSR or OKW for convenience to outside (friends staying off property) or BWV or VWL for ambience? We have not been to OKW, BWV, or VWL except to walk/eat.

My vote is for BWV.

So, is anyone else planning a trip around Thanksgiving time frame? This will be our first trip with the BIL and his family, so it will be 2 men, 2 women, and 5 girls ranging from 13-2 yrs old. *shudder

Its actually not so bad, I don't get the chance to see my nieces very often, usually only 2x a year.

Yeah, baggage charges are pretty much universal, so that's a wash.

As for switching planes, I suspect so, as we did get out seat assignments already, and they are different seats for both legs of the flight.

We "named our own price" on priceline. Although I've been monitoring the flights, and rates for a bit now, I pretty much had it narrowed down to the flight that would except, and I was right.

We got our AP's this week and took advantaged of the free dining and booked a trip in Sept. We are surprising our grandkids with the trip, it will be right between their birthdays.
Hoping to meet up with Dave, he's trip overlaps ours.

I just couldn't justify the expense. I have been wanting one for awhile, but it had to be the right price range. Between the new sectional, DVC contract, and iPad, it's been a spending spree these past few months.
