Good Morning Fellas, here's your daily post serving of bacon

Here's one of my baby pics that I dug up (j/k)

You've come to the right place. Not only do my dds love the characters, but I do too. Assuming your talking about WDW:

#1 is CRT Breakfast - 5 princesses, free picture with Cinderella, and the best stuffed french toast for you
#2 is Akershus Breakfast - 5 princesses, free picture with Belle, and cold breakfast buffet and hot breakfast served family style
#3 CP Breakfast - Pooh Characters and great food
#4 Tusker House Breakfast - Great juice, Mickey, 2 other friends characters, and picture with Donald Duck

You may notice a breakfast theme. All these are in the different theme parks, so if you can make a reversation before the park opens, then you get in the park early, have breakfast, and then can be first to whatever ride you want. Four breakfasts in a row are hard on you as a parent if you don't like to get up that early.

Non-Theme Park Breakfasts
Cape May at Beach Club - Minnie, Goofy, and Donald and can get into Epcot through International Gateway (I like the food here, too)

Personally, CM, 1900 Park Fare, and Ohana Breakfast are all about the same for me. I really like the juice at Ohana, Alice and Mad Hatter at Park Fare, and CM, well, it's the only good meal there, and it has all Mickey's friends in chef clothes.

As for dinner, Garden Grove at Swan/Dolphin is my favorite. It is not on DP. 1900 Park Fare Dinner is ok food and has Cinderella, Prince Charming, and her step-sisters and mother putting on a show. Garden Grill at Epcot is served family style, nothing great, but if you go on the land ride, then you can see the ride as you eat. It also has farmer Mickey
Reservations before the park opens sounds awesome. Don't know why I hadn't thought of that before:confused3

For a three year old, Crystal Palace for Pooh & friends and Chef Mickeys for the big 4 (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy) would be my "must do's"

That's a great age, Travis!
We are really looking forward to this trip. She has developed so much since then, and has really started talking lately. Which is huge in our world. Seems like the speech started picking up during our last trip back in July.:thumbsup2

Our two absolute faves are Tusker House for breakfast, good characters, and really good food, and 1900 Park Fare for dinner, I loved this way more then the breakfast there, characters were more into the spirit
I was thinking the same thing about Park Fare.

As other people mentioned, lots of options. I would focus on dinning with the little one's favorite characters. Pooh vs. Mickey vs. Princesses... My daughter's favorites were CRT for breakfast and CM.
She seems to love them all, so I don't think we can go wrong in that dept. She didn't get to interact with the princesses last time but I think that will go well also.

Thanks for the advice guys. More questions to come.

...
On a somber note I visited one of my best friends and fishing buddy today. He just had back surgery, but something else was "off". They found a large tumor growing out of his right lung into his shoulder and pretty sure it's spread to liver and bones. This man (old enough to be my grandfather, but he's one of the guys) has been a rock in our little fishing group for well over a decade. I've spent hours and hours and days and days in a boat with him...

I've seen this movie before, I know what lies ahead and I know there ain't a darn thing I can do about. I do know one thing, that was only the shell of the man I know and love in that chair today...:sad1:

Thanks for letting me vent

Fed, prayers for your friend and you. Tough situation. Vent away when needed.

Hey Randall, I missed the announcement as well.

Normally you have over the top banners to catch the eye.

Congrat's.

Time to book the grandsons first WDW trip?

WOWSER, how did you pull that one off? How are you going to tell him that morning?

:scared1:

A couple of people have almost given it away on us but we are quick to make something up or to quiet the other people up. We managed to keep the WDW portion of our Christmas trip last year a surprise so we have had some training. :rotfl2:We were trying to get to Tampa before telling him but I odn't think we will be able to. We are driving across the border to fly and we will need to tell them at the border our actual destination.

We are cruising with Carnival and on their home page they have a banner that counts down the days until you cruise. I think the day we leave we will get him to look at the page to see if he picks up on it.

I'm sorry I missed this! Congrats Randall!

Have a great week, guys! Flight leaves at 1pm. Leaving for the airport at 10am. Don't know how much I'll be posting here, but I'll be blowing up FB!

Have a blast Chris!!!!! :cool1:

Thanks Brian! Trying to talk them into Jan 2013.

Congrats. and maybe you could talk them into going for the DIS dads convention. ;) I'm currently trying to talk my wife into letting me go down for a few days for it, but no success so far bc we are already going Jan 27 - feb 1 :woohoo:

Doc: Have an awesome vacation!

Randall: Congratulations!

Steve: Sorry about Ethan. I hate to hear that my little buddy is struggling. Tell him his friends from Delaware are pulling for him, and think he's awesome. :thumbsup2

Fed: Very sorry to hear about your friend. Prayers for him, you, and the family.
