Got Amelia to school, but was not a fun walk, the sidewalks are fairly icy this morning, in particular the bridge over the Credit River. Loads of fun

CWD = Chronic Wasting Disease - a brain disease similar to mad cow disease but has yet to be proven that it can affect humans but they have scared a lot of people out of hunting.

Thanks! Prion diseases are very interesting! Not caused by a bacterial or virus but rather a rogue protein that affects the normal folding of other proteins. Reminds me of Ice-9 from Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle.

Anyone wants to go deer hunting they can come to my house. We have them prowling the neighborhood frequently. They use my yard to get back down toward the trees by the lake. Also have quite a few here on post. Along with wild turkey, black bear, fox, etc. During the last bear hunt they took a seven hundred pounder out of the back area of the post. Occasionally one will be sighted walking on the golf course across from our building.

I brought flowers home, which my kids wanted to give to my wife. My daughter, however, didn't think they smelled good enough, so she sprayed them with some kind of smelly body spray/perfume stuff.
So my wife got smelly flowers.
