You know - I do find it interesting, though, that there are many, many, many others in here who will post just one, or two pics and not get called out on it... but when I do it? Yeah, that's right, I get called out. (Not that I'm calling you out specifically Tim, just highlighting it for illustrative purposes). I think Norm's just jealous of my overall ranking in the DDC threads, and that's why he does it. Just kidding Norm. Just a little gentle backatcha ribbing tonight.

But I did just transfer all 2200+ pics from my HI and CA trip to my computer and am getting ready to upload a new slew to photobucket... be ready!

Now, I my dad did pass on the Camry. (He's still alive - just has had 2 strokes and can't drive anymore). But, all the miles on the Caravan are from me.

From my earlier posts, I am a big fan of Dave Ramsey. But, I wish I had found him many years earlier. I bought the 2002 new because DW wanted a minivan for our exploding family - at that point, we had one child. She lost a few battles with parking barriers, so I inherited it. Then, in 2004, she wanted the Aztek and we bought it new. So, two new depreciated cars with financing - my super stupid tax. So, I picked up some extra income and we paid those off. Then, the extra income went to buy DVC and support our Disney vacation habits.

Of course, reading "The Long Winter" (Laura Ingalls Wilder) to my daughter before bed, where it was 7 months of blizzards and more than 40 below - hasn't been helping either. Psychologically I believe I'm colder than I would be normally, but tonight for some reason I just can't get warm. I think I need to go crawl under the covers and go to sleep.

Was it you who just signed up for the Disney movie club? I need to get the other POTC on Blu-ray. Maybe that is the best (and cheapest) way to do it.

That was me. I'll send you a thing via email. I did them thru DVD. The DMC movie club is higher for overall purchase, but I signed up for 4 movies for $.50, 1/2 price on DVD, and 3 more movies to meet my obligation in the club. Then, I cancel it and may consider reopening in the future. I'm not delusional - I know Disney is not losing money. But, If I spent less on movies I planned on purchasing anyway, then it works for me.

My DW used to be a member. We get DMC mail all the time asking us to come back. I'm not sure what they are offering us to come back though.
