Wow, step away from the computer for a couple of days and Randall comes surging past Norm, and sneaking up on me. :)

I've passed Andy for 4th overall, but he could still get a real good run and take 5th back over. Randall is 600 ahead of me on all time posts and I'm sure he wants to keep that cushion and would have to stop posting for 3 consecutive threads for me to catch him. You are 1800 ahead and would need to stop posting for 9 threads. Dave Z is 2000 ahead and would need to stop posting for 10 threads. I'm hoping to find a nice home at 4th.

You and Dave Z are still way too far ahead. Randall would have to stop posting for 3 threads for me to catch him. You and Dave Z have 6 threads of no posting for me to break even.

You know you don't really win anything. Right?

:confused3

Way too many numbers for me to think about on a Sunday night. :rotfl:

Had a good day today. Took 21 kids to Dave & Busters to celebrate my son's 16th (on Tuesday). We had a BLAST. He definitely got the confidence boost he needed, and we all enjoyed hanging out together.

If you all don't know what D&B is - a) google it, or b) know that's it's a cool, grown-up version of that blasted Chuck E place - but so much better, and without crappy pizza, and costumed characters. My son accumulated a ton of tickets in the arcade, and the prize he chose? A very nice, authentic poker chip set, with a beautiful locking case. He was pumped, and turned to me and said, "Dad! Now we can play poker and not have to use Annie's crayons!" Such the thinker I have. :rotfl: He's grumbled about el cheapo (me) for so long not having a "real" poker set - so finally we have one... his.

:rotfl:

It was a very good day.

Hello, have you noticed those DDC championships in my signature line!!!

I have.

I have also read in the last thread or two, where you were promoting us to all slow down, and use the "last to post" thread.

But you give off a completely different message with you signature. ;)

Consecutive Sunday night ownage.

Hello, have you noticed those DDC championships in my signature line!!!

I would be happy to add a 3rd overall DDC post leader to that list, but 4th is too low to go. Thwarted by Randall.

Very cool Christopher.

We have a D&B here. Havent been there though. I guess I am getting to old. I have been to playdium though (same sort of place).

Happy birthday to your son.

I wish I was surrounded by idiots. With these budget cuts it will soon be me and the barn cats left.

All the idiots are still in the management positions. They need to keep their numbers up to have someone to meet with.

I haven't been to a Dave and Buster's in a while. They have been some other similar, maybe more local type stores. Julian's at Opry Mills Mall? They are fun.

I have.

But, as you can tell, I earn them (mostly) through quoting or multi quoting.

Is this an overcompensating thing?

Like guys who drive Hummers?

Ooooooh! The Doc has taken a psyc rotation! I drive a 97 Toyota Camry with 160K. There's a 2002 Dodge Caravan with 175K in the garage for WDW trips (and for DW to drive right now because she doesn't want to buy new tired for her car). She has a 2004 Pontiac Astek with under 100K. What does that mean I'm compensating for?

::yes:: Very often, yes

I hadn't been in about 12 years, but it was sure fun.

Yes, you do do a lot of multi-quoting. But you also make lots of comments and share information as well. Unlike some others around here who won't be named who just share a lot of pictures :rolleyes1

Actually, it's that competitive switch. I will occasionally let my dds win when we play games. But, I have worked on it over the years. In coaching now, once I have a comfortable margin, I pull my players or rotate them back to protect a lead and not run up the score.

We won't talk about all those pictures! And, I'm also know to quote myself at times.

And here we are, once again - another milestone. Tonight I reach 13,000 posts.

As I read in the news just days ago, the same number of jobs that American Airlines is looking to cut now that they've filed for bankruptcy.

I know that speeches have come to be expected with milestones around here, but I'm going to keep it relatively short and sweet tonight.

I enjoy hanging out here. I enjoy sharing my love for, and knowledge of the Disney parks with you all. I enjoy sharing my photos with you all (and bugging Norm at the same time  and getting and giving gentle ribbing about it here and there). I have enjoyed meeting more than a baker's dozen of you in person in the parks and elsewhere. I have developed some cool friendships with several of you offline, and it's really neat to be able to call or text at almost any time and be able to talk. I like it here, and am glad that even in this sometimes crazy, wacky, bacon-scented place, we can all get along and have fun.

I look forward to sharing more posts, stories, tips, tricks and yes... photos.. with you all in the future.

See ya real soon!

Congrats on another milestone. And, I get an honorable mention in your acceptance speech with no pictures. Bravo.

Watching POTC 3. After Tim's post, just had to go back and watch 3 again. The battle between the Pearl and Dutchman at the end is terrific. In the DVD, as I don't remember it in the movie theater, right before the boat falls over the edge of the waterfall and before we see Jack in Davy Jones' locker, the screen goes dark and I could hear sounds from the POTC ride at WDW - the music throughout and the "dead men tell no tales" at the beginning of the ride.
Was it you who just signed up for the Disney movie club? I need to get the other POTC on Blu-ray. Maybe that is the best (and cheapest) way to do it.

Disney question. Where is the best/cheapest place to buy an Annual Pass?
Or, you can always try Undercover Tourist. Find there cheapest ticket, use it one day then upgrade.
UT- find a ticket that at full price is equal to the price of a AP. Usually you can find a ticket that is $30-40 cheaper on UT.

Congrats Christopher!!!!

It's been great meeting you and I do hope our paths cross again in the future! :goodvibes
