I hear ya! Which adds to the whole risk aversion thing at our ages. I was terrified to even try. But sometimes your perspective changes dramatically based on circumstances. Now I'm in the "if only I had...." mentality wishing I'd just bitten the bullet 10 years ago!

I'm afraid I'll look back on the what if. DW likes making candy, and it is really good. I envisioned a bakery/candy shop, where I don't see a lot of those specific combinations. Once I start looking at overhead on equipment ....
But, it may be something to consider in the future. Or, maybe not.

I started 3 hours ago with Crown. Now, I'm onto beer. But, it's light beer, so no alcohol there.

Yeah. We were like that too for a long time. My FIL used to encourage me, but I was always on the "can't afford to do it" for x y or z reasons. After I lost my job but before he died he looked at me one day and said, "are you going to try now?" I realized it was finally time. Sure it's expensive, and sure there are headaches, but so far it's been good & fun. I'm praying it just takes off, because ultimately there's more I want to start doing as well as this. Part of the whole multi-phase plan we came up with last year, but I need this venture to be rolling along better first.

After I lost my job but before he died he looked at me one day and said, "are you going to try now?" I realized it was finally time. If I can survive another 10 years, then I will have that safety cushion for the "just in case". You have a plan and are rolling with it. That's good.

Also this afternoon, I went though the old snapshots and found a bunch of our pictures from trips to DL in the 80's. I need to scan them and then I'll post some.

I really don't count shots. I drink mine neat and pour it to a line in my glass. It's more than 1 shot at a time, but not sure if it is 2 shots or not. I think I had 5 or 6 of those and then started on the pints of Coors Light. I drink light beer to lose weight. I think it's working.

My home scanner is slow. I've thought about taking my old albums to work and scanning them all in there since it is way faster. Not quite sure what my cover story would be though .....
