i had to get up 3 1/2 hours after you went to bed to go to work. :rotfl2:

*shudder* That's just...wrong.

Sorry I had to go. DD got sick and I was left to clean it up...both times. By the time I cleaned her and it up it was close to 1am :headache:

Yuck. Sorry to hear that. We thought your connection was on the fritz again.

So.... Anyone here had the ol' snip-snip procedure done lately? :rolleyes1 I'm heading to the dr very shortly and am wondering what to expect.

:scared1:

I'm still in the stage of quickly changing the subject whenever that conversation comes up.

Morning guys!

Stopher, congrats on the complete domination of the thread named, rightfully so, after you. Well done! :cool1:

No. But I'm curious to hear how it goes, as the topic has been bandied about in my house from time to time... :scared1:

I avoided that subject altogether since my DW took care of the business after our DD was born.

i look at it this way, like our "disney van", if you keep it in the garage, you dont have to worry about it doing any damage or getting damaged.:lmao:

My DD12 just came in with this Fed Fact:

The dinosaurs did not become extinct, Fed just forced them into hiding.

And Fed, DD17 wants to meet you someday somehow. Any chance of you coming up to Everett or Bangor?

Possibly. Trying to get up to the National Tactical Officers Association Meeting in Seattle this September, but that's waaaaay to far out to plan for at the moment.

Not for nothing, but I'm hoping they don't move me to our Northwest Field Office permanantely...too cold:lmao:

Forgot to mention. The Pirate Princess not only made the lacrosse team but was elected Captain. Proud of her.

This might be worse than the snip-snip. :rotfl:

Late to the party, but I'm here. Can we slow down now? :lmao:

I went to the Super Bowl Village yesterday in Indy. Neat to see, but overrated, IMO. I guess if you're into celebrity stalking and getting autographs, it is pretty good place to be. Just walking down the sidewalk, we hadn't been there long when we walked past Mike Greenberg. A little bit later we passed Mark Schlereth.

We also saw Jon Gruden, Mike Tirico, Colin Cowherd, Ron Jaworski, Cris Carter and Rachel Nichols near the ESPN set yesterday afternoon.
In addition to ESPN, we saw local news personalities all over the place. The Indiana guys know who I'm talking about, so let me just say Angela Buchman looks even better in person than on TV. :rolleyes1

It was fun to see the sights and do the zip line. Pan Am Plaza got pretty crowded yesterday afternoon though, so we headed home at around 6 pm. People would line up and flock anytime there was a TV camera or celebrity around though. The main thing I wanted to do was the NFL Experience, but DW's boss bought tickets for admission after 5 pm. I decided I wasn't going to wait 1 1/2 or 2 hours to throw or kick a football (I asked a guy who was coming out of the Field Goal kicking thing how long he waited and he said 2 hours :scared1:), especially since I had a pregnant wife with me who had just about had her fill of being on her feet. We just walked through, checked out the displays and left. :confused3 They had some neat displays to see, but I really think I'd much rather spend a day at the Hall of Fame. The NFL Experience was a bit of a disappointment. Still glad we had a chance to see it though.

One thing that caught my attention though, is that they have these "headless mannequin" things wearing a uniform of all the NFL teams. People can get up behind them and it looks like they're wearing that uniform for a picture. They had one for each team, but they had probably 4 or 5 for the Colts set up at various places inside the NFL Experience. I realize all the teams had "12" on the jersey, but when I started seeing these Colts #12's everywhere, it really seemed like they were trying to say something. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I get the feeling those events surrounding the Super Bowl are more fun for the "in" crowd than the regular shlubs like us.

I guess Peyton's days are numbered. Seems a bit of a bummer, knowing his final accomplishment in Indianapolis was to destroy David's fantasy season. :rotfl2:
