That was easy. Got there at 10:30 and was back in the car at 12:11. That includes waiting room, rest room, prep and recovery. In OR from 11:11 to 11:35. Totally awake and aware the whole time, but the drugs made me not care. Brief pain during some injections but that pain was gone within 5 seconds. They let me bring my ipod. Huey Lewis, Quiet Riot, Jimmy Buffett and others made things better. I considered listening to a DisDads podcast but I didn't want Aaron's voice to be forever associated with scalpels, shaving, and nutsacks. In summary- nothing to be afraid of.

Now for a weekend full of percoset, Godfather trilogy (ok, just the first two), a DVR full of Batman: The Animated Series, and being waited on hand and foot by the wife.

Perhaps it's just me - but I don't see XV added in...

Look again.

XV is the 6th entry in the first table (sorted by post count), the last entry in the second table and second to last column in the third table.

Or am I the one that’s going nuts?

Ahhhhh, shooting blanks never sounded so good. :rotfl:

I applaud you DVR choice!

If I can remember, I'll post a picture of the Animated Batman and myself.

I also got Batman: Under the Red Hood from the library. Probably one of DC's best direct-to-dvd animated features. PG-13 so I'm watching that while the kids aren't home.

Howdy all…

It’s not been a particularly good morning at work so far, but I thing the really cruddy stuff is starting to get itself sorted out. Maybe this afternoon will be better.

Well enough of my whining…

Stopher! Congratulations on completely ruling thread XV. We obviously re-named it well.

Well, for those that really want to know…
Here the updated DDC stats with Thread XV added in.

I like it, but really, you kill someone off to get headlines, keep them dead! :headache:

I believe that you entered the data... I just don't see it. Perhaps I'm going blind. I looked in the 6th, last and second to last (and every other entry) and just didn't see it.

I see it in all three charts.

Stopher-
Being on the other side of the country, I've never given DisneyLand much thought. But the pictures I've been looking at are beautiful. From a purely aesthetic standpoint, which is better to look at, WDW or DL? These pictures have me thinking that DL wins.

That was easy.

Glad everything went well. I have a co-worker who had a horror story, which is part of my reluctance.

Now that doesn't sound bad at all! :thumbsup2

Which of your kids do you love more?

Federal Law Enforcement's New Save Money Plan:

Get rid of all (or at least most) government cars when the contracts are up. Now Agents get to pick a number to pick up the keys (hope nothing really bad happens and everyone needs to go different directions at once). Our Office covers all of Florida and Georgia. Basically going to be one care per 5 agents...gonna' be tight.

Solution (thank you DOJ Lawyers). Buy a car for strictly government service. Treat it like a government car--no or little personal use, different insurance etc. etc. etc. Write off income taxes.

Our director told us...if I could get rid of Blackberries I could get everyone a car. Hey, I'm all for that PLEASE take my Blackberry....PLEASE---wont' do that, too easy to make me work when I'm off while I'm attached to it.

I see this coming...

2100 (9 PM) Fed: "Hey, we had an incident...need you to respond to..."

Agent: "No can do boss...no transportation"

By rule and regulation we can only call an Agent in if we provide transportation...

Can't wait to see how this turns out---wonder if I can get a Shelby to use as an police car:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

That being said...as with anything in the government--I'm gonna' have to see it to believe it:rotfl2:

I'm glad you made it through ok. Not sure I'd want to be awake for it.

The line about the podcast was hilarious! :thumbsup2

Federal Law Enforcement's New Save Money Plan:
:sad2: Hopefully common sense will win out over the bureaucracy. There's a first time for everything, right?

I'm all for the government cutting back on expenses, but Law Enforcement relates directly to public safety and if there's something cut, it shouldn't be something that will inhibit their ability to safely do their jobs.
