Good morning dads and TGIF :cool1:

CJ great pics of PP's birthday. 18 :scared1: I am still quite aways from my daughters being there, but it scares the Beverly out of me.

Thanks Dave. Don't worry, it will come soon enough. And you have two of them. Was and am still worried about her but I haven't figured how to stop time. Still working on it.

Think breakfast will be Oreo ice cream cake. That was some good stuff. Not sure if I will add bacon to it.

Remember what Bill Cosby said about cake for breakfast, it has milk, eggs, flour all parts of a balanced breakfast :lmao:

CJ, you posted while I was finding this picture, so I added it for you. :rotfl:

BTW, do you know how I can post smaller pictures from Photobucket?

Friday and I'm OFF! :cool1:

Not much on the agenda today.

Enjoying my first cup of Joe.

The big project for today is to go through my clothes and get rid of the stuff I don't wear (i.e. I can't fit into) anymore. Then it's, Goodwill here I come.

Then I'm hoping to get in some POTC 4 as I haven't seen it yet.

Throw a run to the bank and some laundry in there and I think I got a nice lil' Friday setup for me. :thumbsup2

Good morning all!

Still feel bad that you missed Storytime I guess I might have had something to do with that, but then again the kids were having fun, but then again so were we:rolleyes1

Ah, I'm not heartbtoken over the Storytime, it was a last-minute thing we just wanted to use the freebie from CAA. It was the only morning we had free at Epcot, since we knew we were going to stay late at MK, I hadn't planned for anything to begin with. I'd say the trade off was WELL worth it. :woohoo:

Hopefully won't be too long to catch up again tomorrow. :lmao: Hockey with Dad tonight after work

Anyone have thoughts as to what you would do, without the family and just yourself in the World...what would you do...where would you go???
Whatever the beverly I want! :thumbsup2

Looks like fun. I got a few hours to myself in the parks a couple of times during our last trip. Not quite the extent that you're going for, but it was great to just be able to go at my pace and do whatever I wanted. If I were you, I'd just go in without really having much of a plan and just do whatever you're in the mood for at the time. As long as you're by yourself, it's easy to move around the parks quickly if you're interested in rides, or you can always slow down, have a seat and people watch if that's what you feel like doing. It should be fun either way!

The Pirate Princess's 18th Birthday was today. Went to Samurai for dinner and had ice cream cake at home. A couple of pics.
mmmmmmmmmm... ice cream cake...

Happy Birthday to the Pirate Princess.

Mornin all! :surfweb:

Happy 18th B'day to CJ's DD. That Oreo Ice Cream cake looks delicious.

Yesterday was DD #2's 14th B'day so out for steak we went! Tonight is when the party begins with a few of her friends and all of us going to see a movie that we've all probably seen 30 times or more, but this time Beauty and the Beast is in 3D. :3dglasses

Later it will be back to the house for Chicken wings, Popcorn, Cake, and Dinosaur Nuggets (DD 14's idea ).

Gotta find a way to sneak outta work about an hour early today.

Happy Friday Dads!!

Good Morning Gentlemen..

I would go back and multi quote all the good mornings but boards to slow to do that:rotfl2:

'Morning all...

We've got Moneyball to watch tomorrow night and I'm looking forward to it. Glad to hear more good things about it!

I’ll have to check that one out (must be time to go rummage through the Red-Box).

Oh… and I like the new avatar.
We’ll have to see over time just how well it suites you.

“We can do that; we don't even have to have a reason.”

I had a hard time typing it... but honestly, I've seen it in print (well, on the screen), here on the DVC boards time and time again. Sad but true. People buy in stating they only intend to use it every 3 years. Unfathomable in my mind... but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Or they’re underfunded like me and can’t consider buying enough points (even on the resale market) to go every year.

Are y’all trying to talk me into DVC or out of DVC? ;)

And… a Happy belated Birthday to the Pirate Princess (that one’s going to breakin’ some hearts).

Good morning, gentlemen.

When I hit the 180 day mark, I think my best bet is to call out sick or go in late that day, since I'm not staying onsite I'm pretty sure I have to call all the ADR's in, and since some of them are not on the Dinning plan like Schuala's I think I have to make a ADR with them directly:confused3

You can still make the ADRs online if you want to, even if you're offsite. You'll just sign in using your disney.com account, or just give them an email to which to send the confirmation.

But cruises are a suboptimal way to use your points... you know, "floats your boat"... Eh, I'll show myself out.

HDDR finally opened up booking in the June/July window, so I was able to get that ADR knocked out this morning. I feel like I've accomplished enough for today at this point.

That sounds all good unless....

 You need to keep this pic on hand for future BF visits... "See, son, THIS is what she'll look like if you EVER think your way is the correct way." :lmao::lmao:

A very happy birthday girl you have there! :cool1: Sheesh... 18... time is still flying...... mine is half way there.....

Sonds like it's time to get rid of that dryer. My dryer keeps shrinking my clothes too. And, grab me some money at the bank while at it.

Anyone have thoughts as to what you would do, without the family and just yourself in the World...what would you do...where would you go????

Head over to ESPN. Get Drunk. Let Disney be your designated driver. Not really, although .... I always wanted to do a segway tour.

Happy Birthday to your daughter and congrats surviving as a parent. 8 more years and I'll be there with you, as my oldest has a January birthday as well.

On one hand, I am scared like Dave. But, on the other, you've done your best and prepared them for the future. That's what being a dad is all about.

Driving home yesterday, I saw, for the second time on the DC Metro-area roadways, someone driving while eating soup. Out of a bowl. With a spoon. Okay, let's face it, if you're eating soup, any other actions are an afterthought.

You weren't looking in a mirror? Who eats soup while driving. But, let's not text and drive.

We're still debating Shula's as well. It is more of the timing theme for us. The menu looks great.
