Took the kids ice skating tonight - I didn't go, I just drove them :)

It was for the Girl Guides, they had a public skating night.

So after they were finished, I went and picked then u, I carried the skate bag, and as we were walking back the car, I tripped on a slippery patch of ice / mud, and fell and twisted my wrist, my knee, and anything else that could get twisted.

So for not even lacing up skates, I am the only one to come home with injuries.

Just sad! :sad2:

So I got a question for those in the know about In-n-Out burger. I was in San Fran a couple of months ago and I had my first experience with In n Out. After all the talk about it I was somewhat disappointed. I will admit that after I got home I realized there there were a number of "off menu" options that I was not aware of. Don't get me wrong it's a definite step up from McDs, BK and the like of other fast food burger joints, but given my choice I'll take Five Guys over In-n-Out every time.

Anyone care to explain their love of In-n-Out as I'm sure there is something I'm missing.

Thanks for the insights.

Five Guys is AWESOME.

They just opened up here...

Just got my iPhone.

Just setup iTunes (I know - about 10 years late to that party).

Just subscribed to the DISDads poscasts. (Heard most of 'em through Windows media before).

Phone charging - will be setup tomorrow.

Paul this takes the thought of biking attire to a completely different place. :rotfl2:

I'm not sure what she'll be outfitted in yet, but we'll need to match for our father-daughter rides around the neighborhood. Here is a picture of me on my bicycle, for reference;

Wow a fixie. Get her a scarf and she'll fit right in in NY or silicon valley.

I like in and out, the off menu stuff is good and they are very reasonably priced. Five guys is a little bit more expensive and is a much smaller (but growing rapidly) chain. 5 Guys is awesome but not nearly as many people know about them as in-n-out.

you're getting old when you get ice skirting injuries without skating.
