POP in June, we stay cheap so we can stay longer. Teacher salary.

Pop's great. As good as any mod, for sure. June's a good time to be there too, crowds are a bit heavy, but the weather is good.

Nothing wrong with POP... We've stayed there twice.

We don't spend a lot of time at the resort, so a bed and a place for breakfast is basically all we look for. ;)

We are staying POR next August, basically because of Free Dining, and the upgrade of QSDP was about the same as going to a MOD with DDP.

Good Morning David!

Good Morning Men!

Pop is our Resort of choice. We just need a bed and shower, we're in the parks all day and don't hang around the resort. The biggest plus for Pop is the buses. In the morning get on the bus go to park, no other stops. At night, get on bus go to Pop, again no other stops. :thumbsup2

Anyone watching SNL???

Still have't watched the beginning, but when I went up to bed, I turned it on in the middle of the news. Then watched a skit or two.

Did you see the one right after the news... It was a take off of Disney's Carousel of Progress - it took place in the future, looking back on life in 2012. Pretty funny (from a - it reminded me COP - perspective).

7 degrees here with a -11 wind chill :scared1:

Wow. I feel like I'm in the tropics here. Its currently 19 degrees with a wind chill of only 12.

We had a good time list night at the Daddy Daughter Dance. I learned a couple of key points last night:

1) My 7 & 8 year old are far more aware of pop music than I am.
2) My 7 & 8 year old are far more aware of pop music than I would hope they would be.
3) I now have this strange urge to yell at kids on my lawn. :confused3

Awesome NemiScott...

They will be here in March - Just may have to check that out.

Great pics... I know how hard it could be to stay in focus with all the movement.

Thanks NemiBrian!

I can't take too much credit. It's the equipment that made these pics good.

Nikon D90 with the Nikkor VR 18-200mm lens. Does a great job.

Pretty amazing for a 2 hour show how easy it was to take 406 pictures! :scared1:

up and at em boys!!! It is time for church! man it is cold outside.....I want to go back to bed where it is warm!

We have a breeze here too... but my digital thermometer doesn't have an anemometer. I can check the saved low and it read -3... but I'm sure that was from last winter. :confused3

ITA! We love POP although I haven't stayed at any other values. We usually leave the resort in the am and don't return till night.

HAPPY 37TH BIRTHDAY SPACE MOUNTAIN!!!!

today in 1975, space mountain opened in the magic kingdom! :thumbsup2

It's a little chilly this morning. We have been spoiled this season though. It has been fairly warm. :thumbsup2

We have been spoiled here as well. It's been cold for a few days now, but mostly quite pleasant so far this winter. Wondering what the rest will be like.

That will change once AoA opens, though.

Rough night. DD was coughing so hard she started throwing up. All through the night. Everytime she woke up, "DAAAAADDDYYYYYY!!" Plus, I ripped one of my good t-shirts running into her room (small hole snagged and ripped wide open). Fortunately, she seems to be feeling better this morning.

Good thing I slept in a whole half hour yesterday...I'll need it.

Although AOA will not really be a value resort, prices went up and it is going to cost more than 2 rooms at POP. But it willbe nice to see something there from pop besides a hole in the ground.
