Decoy box - I’m treating myself to a nice bottle of champagne for new year’s. I went to pick it up today and it was concealed in a Secondary outer box advertising something inexpensive. On one hand, it’s sad that this is needed but happy that such care was taken to make my purchase look more inconspicuous to help keep me and the curbside employee a bit safer.
Perfume bottle- I recently saw something about treating yourself to a signature scent. I bought some things about 6 months ago that used to be it but they no longer do it. I tried a couple of others in store today that I used to also have in rotation but I guess my body chemistry has changed and they also no longer do it. This wonderful saleswoman helped guide me and after four or five bottles, we found something I really like that seems so me. It’s in a pretty bottle that’s maybe a smidge more rectangular than a true cube.
Soft side cooler and Rubbermaid container- So apparently good champagne requires proper care before consumption. We have a large rectangular soft side cooler that I’m using to keep the boxed bottle in a cool dark spot. I don’t want the bubbles impacted by the vibration of the fridge so I’m using a plastic container in there filled with ice to help keep the temp a bit cooler. Grateful for these box like contraptions to help care for our festive treat.
