Some people will do anything to win!

GO Rockets! :thumbsup2
''I had not seen this video yet...but it was funny to watch it in person...I even said it was oscar worthy that night as he crawled across the floor holding his chest! At least we won by 1 point Go Herd :rotfl2:

Flagrant Foul ownage!

Oh, come on Stopher. Now that we have or own sub forum they don't really worry about what goes on here...:rolleyes1 :lmao:

Are you so sure Andy? Hmmm? I think there are a few on here who might differ in their thinking :confused3 I cannot say for certain. But perhaps if we give pause and think of the black hole that a few pages and posts disappeared into, you might just happen to concur. And even if you don't - I'll just change the subject this way

I guess, except didn't they "revamp" the show when O arrived on the scene? I don't know. I have avoi... err not taken the time to go and check it out for a while. Like chill, I prefer the downhome charm of those rollickin' Country Bears when I need some good a/c on a hot afternoon.

Gotta love Big Al:thumbsup2

In the end just a game...but to call it a display is giving it too much credit...to have a display you have to have both teams show up. Clearly, that was not the case here.

Wiley must've texted me 30 times to go "do something":lmao::lmao:

It still pales in comparison to my Junior year team's meltdown while ranked #1 in the country. Losing in the first round of the playoffs at home. To an unranked team. 7-0.

*THAT* was painful...and I still don't like to talk about it:headache::headache:

Made up for it the next year though (thank God)

I was just wanting you to go and napalm the WVU bench....sheeesh...it pained me to see that...but I guess you know that already! :lmao:

Have a great night guys. I think I got about 10 posts in tonight, it looks like this old timer is about to fall out of the top 30. Stopher and dave if i give you my password will you post for me for about a week so I get into the top 20?:lmao:

Is the Country Bears still the same show since day 1:confused3

Pretty much, yes.

There has been the seasonal "Country Bear Christmas Special", and the "Country Bear Vacation Hoedown" which began in 1986 at both WDW and Disneyland replacing the original show. That iteration was immensely popular at Disneyland, but very ill-received at WDW. The Vacation Hoedown show only lasted a short while at WDW and was quickly replaced by the original version once again, only changed out seasonally for the Christmas version - whereas the Vacation Hoedown played at Disneyland from 1986 until the Country Bear Playhouse closed permanently in 2001 (and was replaced by "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" in 2004).

I went back a little bit...

well plans have changed for our may trip. just got things finalized tonight. we are staying at the polynesian instead of boardwalk!!! :dance3:
Sweet! I hope you think of me when you are drinking a Lapu Lapu in the jacuzzi! ;) popcorn:: :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I'm starting to think Barry is the only reason to watch Storage Wars anymore. The others have all grown stale, but that guys is just pure gold. :thumbsup2
He is the best!

Oh man, I thought I was the only one who watched that show....and I'm with you...Barry is the man.

I swear I'd punch Dave after two or there Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuup's.

You know... just your average day around here
Sounds about right.

Stopher- I'm sure you've been following this Italy cruise tragedy. Seems like the captain is a showoff and a coward. Did you hear the audio tapes between him and the coast guard? Sickening.

Oh yes, yes I have. I have a few choice words I would use (not here) to describe him. Yes, I did hear the tapes, and it was repulsive. I've read 12 years in prison - I would say that is nowhere near appropriate.

This whole thing got me thinking about cruise ships. I've been on 5 cruises and I've never questioned the credentials of the captain. Come to think of it I've never questioned an airline pilot either. Should there be safeguards or ways to research a captain before boarding a vessel? Should the info be public?

Random photo for the night... from Liberty Square. I have these in miniature form, thanks to the old arrangement with Dept. 56.

I don't know. I've never really given it much thought before myself. I've always trusted that they people in those high trust, high dependence roles will keep their passengers safe to the best of their ability. This bad apple didn't do that. At all. There's always one that spoils the bunch, isn't there?

But even so, out of the nearly 100M passengers who've safely traveled by sea over the past 25 years - ocean vessels remain a very safe form of transport, despite idiots like this one.

And here's one of my sweet pea, tucked into bed in the Treehouses doing one of her favorite things... reading.

2010-0112-0011.jpg

It's been a while since I last read them (several years ago to my boys) and longer since I read them as a kid - but I've been going through the LITTLE HOUSE books with my daughter. She is enamored with them. We're up to the 5th in the series - "By the Shores of Silver Lake". Reading a chapter or 2 a night. What a great way to spend time with her. I loved doing it with my boys when they were young too. I'm trying desperately to finish it before I leave on my trip west next Monday. I don't want to leave her hanging for nearly 2 weeks, waiting for Daddy to finish the book. And that's OUR time - so I won't let DW read to her in my stead. If I'm not home, she waits until I'm back.
