Good news from Seton Hall. The "mandatory" orientation session while we are in Hawaii is not mandatory. They have another one at the end of August. We will probably drive up for that and stay until the term starts. So I guess she will be going to SH. No way I was giving up on the vacation.

Rain just passed through. Another storm is on the way. The pool is closed and more importantly THE POOL BAR IS CLOSED! Now what am I going to do?

We're going to be more-or-less directly east of Pine Lakes Country Club, if you know where that is, on North Ocean Boulevard. And, if it means I don't have to wait for an hour and a half for mediocre food, I am willing to travel significantly. Thanks!

We have stayed in that area a couple of times (when the In-laws are paying). There are a few chain restaurants but not much else that's very close by. Another vote for Calabash for Seafood!

Thanks. All seems to be good for now. She had a little pain today when she came home from school, enough not to go to dance, which is big for her. Some Tylenol fixed it.

We went to Panama City Beach lt end of summer but did not have a great time. But, it was more due to Panama City Beach and cigarette butts everywhere on the beach as opposed to the non Disney vacation. Maybe I can pick a place a little better this time.

Do you speak droid? R2 may have just cursed at us all? Or, maybe his royalty from Star Wars is not high enough.

Well, looks like my week of vacation at the end of May will have to be closer to home. DW said no. First, she said, we couldn't afford it. I asked her she knew that since she never stays within the household budget. I'll have to bank those 35 points to next year.

I did! Not much to it, but that was the first one I've seen.

We won't be going anytime soon, but that was interesting. My plan is to rent a car and drive out west, stopping to see Grand Canyon and anything else I can think of, hit DL, fly to Aulani, and then back home. It probably won't happen, but it's another trip I can plan.

Now that sounds likes like a cool trip! Driving out West from here would be quite a haul! I think I'd fly somewhere West first, then drive. Much more fun to rent a car anyway!

I was going to fix the dryer when I got home from work (10min job) after going to the parts store (has to be ordered) it now looks like it will be Sat or Mon before the $19 part will arrive, and this is how a 10min job turns into a week project

I always wanted to rent a convertible and make the drive. But, neither DW nor dds like having the windows down in the car now, much less a convertible. Yeah, it may be to fly to Vegas, rent car to Canyon and DL, and then the rest of the trip. I could handle that as well. I pulled up the trip on Google Maps once. That Interstate ride west opposite TX looks brutal.

Already had to go to my mom's to dry towels, it will not be to long before I run out of work clothes
