Called today to follow up on it. I was put on hold and they had to check on it. He came back and said the printer is a third party provider. They resubmitted the order and the printer sent it back saying a reprint would just give the same result. (and I wasn't notified about this, why????)

Anyway, he repopulated my photopass account with pictures and gave me a promo code for a free bottle and free shipping and told me to re-create one with a different picture and re-submit it. I did so, but I'm out the extra $2 that I spent for express shipping in the first place, because the code only allowed standard shipping. At this point, it is well after DW's birthday anyway, so I guess it really doesn't matter.

So... Disney cakes called me back. They aren't sure if they can procure a king cake (especially a Disney-fied one), but the lady is going to make some calls and see what can be done. She said she expects to know by Monday.

Wow that has got to be really frustrating. At least they were able to repopulate your pictures. I am surprised all you got was a coupon for a free bottle. Disney is usually really good at customer service and that seems to be a result that doesn't really make you whole.
