I read
Order of the Stick,
Penny Arcade,
Shortpacked (though it's getting too drama-y for me, may give it up soon)
Pop Culture Shock Therapy (think "The Far Side" if it was always about pop culture)
xkcd
Dork Tower

And every once and a while I'll catch up on Wondermark, Dinosaur Comics, and Cyanide & Happiness.

I don't read them regularly like I used to, but a few of my not-already-mentioned favorites are:

Questionable Content

And a few of my friend Aaron Williams' comics:

PS238 (Link should take you to the first entry of the comic in the archives).

Nodwick (Especially for the D&D players)

Full Frontal Nerdity (Sort of like the flip side of Nodwick)

Um, this snowblower device invented by a Canadian, does it use a large fan or jet type of engine to get enough air mass moving to blow the snow away? The machine in my shed uses mechanisms to throw the snow to one side or the other, hence, a snowthrower. Just curious or is this part of the diffence between American and Canadain Idioms?

If you a Tim THe Tool Man type it would have jet engine attached; otherwise it is just an idiom to make it sound a little dirtier. ;)

I know it's rough, I do hope it gets better soon :thumbsup2
Thanks! :thumbsup2

Remember Tim, they are not for you, they are for your daughter. Daughters love princesses and so you must have many pictures of them everywhere for your daughter.

If that doesn't work for you either, then duck because here comes the frying pan. :rotfl2:
Yes. That's it! I'll tell her she has to take 500 pictures so Juliana can remember the show for years to come. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Is he in the, "Hey, whatever that is let me put it in my mouth" stage?
He's been doing that for 2 months... we were looking in his mouth everyday for the first month saying, 'I know there coming.' but they never did. We occasionally check and I think we looked 2-3 days ago and there was nothing there. :confused3

My little guy (who is now 7) would put anything in his mouth and he was lightning quick. One time, he crawled and saw an ant. As I later told my wife, I got most of the ant out of his mouth before he swallowed it.
:rotfl2::rotfl2: How did she take that?
I'm sure that my DW would of killed me! :headache:

Ouch... Not looking forward to it at all....
Well, enjoy this time because it is about to get rough! :faint:

Score! The sales dept supervisor says we will be getting in Disney on Ice tix, and possibly some Disney Live tix too, and she'll set some aside for me! :cool1:

We might take along DD's best friend too, so it should be a fun time!
:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 HEy take some extra pics, you know, for the archives! :surfweb:

I don't remember my DD having a hard time with her teething. I remember her having a fever during it, but not being in pain because of it.

Of course, I could be mentally blocking it out too... :lmao:
I don't remember how my DD did either. I think I've blocked that out too. ::yes::

Good and bad.

She kind of laughed because she knew how he was. She called the doctor who said no big deal - watch for a fever just in case.

She also did not completely trust me to watch him by myself after that so I got to watch more sporting events without interruption.

Just curious but what is the meaning of hte thread's title, ie 'It's a trap!!!'

'wonders if it has anything to do with General Akbar of Star Wars or Sheldon Cooper's imitation of same.'

I forgot to mention.....

So my favorite part of being a dad to a newborn is upon us. My son, Christopher (what do you know.. another Christopher), has begun cutting 2 teeth. Hurray!!! :yay:

:sad2: :headache::headache: :sad2::sad2: :headache::headache::headache: :sad2:

Ughhh... It was nice while it lasted. :lmao: I could not imagine being a new dad again... I like my sleep!

Always tyring to keep us Canadians down, eh? :rotfl2:

Nah. I have nothing but warm thoughts towards my frozen brothers to the north

Yuck.

It was the only picture of a Tombstone pizza I could find with Bacon on it to complete the joke.

:thumbsup2 <= Not a thumb

Ohh so it's not a thumb for a not a bacon comment.

I think I read that some airports use jet engines strapped to large trucks as snowblowers.

You wonder correctly... General Akbar. Bazinga!

Yes on Ackbar, no on Sheldon, but I do enjoy that show quite a bit.
