We got my favorite type of snow today, the type that melts on the driveway before I need to get out the shovel & snowblower!

Gotta love it, I haven't even taken the snowblower out of the shed yet.

Well, just found out that my commercials were not submitted to the Michigan Broadcasters Association awards this year (which I'm okay with, as it cost a buttload to do so, so we just submitted a few news stories and a play by play, and I didn't really want to travel to lower Michigan).

However, I found out that the date for the Awards Ceremony for the Wisconsin awards is 3 days after my wife's due date! Bummer! Oh well, I'll still get the bonus if any of my spots win, I just won't get the free hotel room and get to get drunk off the boss's money celebrating like we did last year.

Um, this snowblower device invented by a Canadian, does it use a large fan or jet type of engine to get enough air mass moving to blow the snow away? The machine in my shed uses mechanisms to throw the snow to one side or the other, hence, a snowthrower. Just curious or is this part of the diffence between American and Canadain Idioms?
