Good Morning Gentlemen
Hi Carl, how you doing these days? Backed away from the ledge? Yellow crying towel dried out?
Good Morning Gentlemen
Challenge: live at Disney for a year - and see EVERYTHING.
I like that move a lot. I appreciate what Cordero has given us over the last few years, but I'm not sad about seeing him go. For some reason he always felt the need to put the winning run in scoring position before he finally closed out and got the save. I just kind of wished they would have locked Madson in to a longer contract.Congrats on the Reds signing Madson. I would have preferred the Phils keep him over Papelbon, to be honest. Good, underrated pitcher.
Morning Carl.Good Morning Gentlemen
We really like WL. Are you using DVC points? If not I'd add the poly to that list. Better theming than the Contemporary and you can walk to the TTA for a direct ride to Epcot. We also really like the Beach Club. Its not as close to the Studios as Boardwalk is, but the rooms have been refurbished more recently. We are debating where to stay as well. My wife and I loved the Wilderness Lodge when we went in 2000 before we had kids.
As an aside, you know you are a Disney nut when you take a vacation there without kids and consider it the best vacation you and your wife took, including your honeymoon in Hawaii. But I digress.
We took the kids on their first trip and stayed at the Contemporary. We love the convenience of the CR, and my son was a train nut so he loved the idea of a train running through the hotel, but the CR is not a great "themed" hotel.
We are debating between taking the kids to the Wilderness Lodge because we loved the theming and the boats to the park are convenient and fun, or going back to the Contemporary because of the convenience of the Monorail.
Neither of us are huge fans of the Animal Kingdom - 1/2 to 3/4 day park and I'm done, so we like being closer to DW and Epcot.
I've heard some great things about other hotels like Coronado Springs and Boardwalk, but I have some definite research to do. I think, in the end, the wife prefers the Wilderness Lodge and it is really hard to argue with her.
Winning?? 10 cups of Beverly? I do not think it means what you think it means.This. It's not about what you're eating, it's about where you're eating it.
Speaking of which, I dreamt last night that I visited a friend's restaurant and they had a Club Cool soda dispenser installed, complete with Beverly! I remember asking for a huge jug to fill with Beverly, somehow thinking that would be very impressive to all of you here on the boards. That somehow led to a Beverly drinking contest that included a lot of my old high school classmates. Dear Lord, I even dreamt the taste of it! It was a long arduous contest, and I was feeling kind of punchy towards the end (after around 10 cups), until it was down to just me and another person...and that's when my wife's alarm went off and woke me up.
I don't even remember if there was a prize for winning other than bragging rights.
Good morning gents!

Maybe it's just that he has better nightcaps?
That's right, they play them on TV.Sadly, they don't play the games on paper.
I would think drinking 10 cups of Beverly would give you some interesting dreams.... assuming you wake up afterwards.Speaking of which, I dreamt last night that I visited a friend's restaurant and they had a Club Cool soda dispenser installed, complete with Beverly! Revenge is a great show!! If you watch it from the beginning. If you catch it from the middle then.. You just won't get it. But if you didn't like lost then you probably won't like revenge. It was written by the same people.
The premise is her dad was set up for a crime he didn't commit. When she was 9 she was taken to foster care and from that point on she has plotted revenge against those that did this to her family. Her dad before he was arrested invested in a small electronics company that now give his daughter UNLIMITIED funds in the millions a day bracket. But revenge always has a price.
Plus she is peanut buttery HOT!!![]()

I really like the moves the Reds have made this year. The starting pitching staff is going to be solid to start the season, and we've got the Cuban Missile waiting for his turn down in Louisville. I liked the fact that they moved Alonso, I just kind of felt like they could have done better than him and Grandal to get Latos. They've made some moves to beef up the pen and are looking for a leftfielder. Most active off-season I've seen out of them in a while.
Just a few weeks away from pitchers and catchers reporting for Spring Training.![]()
Maybe they are saving the best for last![]()
Yeah I got nothing in the way of those tags either. What's up with that???![]()
