Good morning guys :surfweb:

We watched a Disney Behind the Magic (I think that was the title) last night on Netflix. During the show they said a guest could stay at WDW for a year and still not see and experience everything.

Gentlemen, we have been challenged, whose ready to take them up on it :thumbsup2:rotfl2:

I say challenge accepted :cool1:

What is the challenge? It's too early for me to see it.

We are debating where to stay as well. My wife and I loved the Wilderness Lodge when we went in 2000 before we had kids.

As an aside, you know you are a Disney nut when you take a vacation there without kids and consider it the best vacation you and your wife took, including your honeymoon in Hawaii. But I digress.

We took the kids on their first trip and stayed at the Contemporary. We love the convenience of the CR, and my son was a train nut so he loved the idea of a train running through the hotel, but the CR is not a great "themed" hotel.

We are debating between taking the kids to the Wilderness Lodge because we loved the theming and the boats to the park are convenient and fun, or going back to the Contemporary because of the convenience of the Monorail.

Neither of us are huge fans of the Animal Kingdom - 1/2 to 3/4 day park and I'm done, so we like being closer to DW and Epcot.

I've heard some great things about other hotels like Coronado Springs and Boardwalk, but I have some definite research to do. I think, in the end, the wife prefers the Wilderness Lodge and it is really hard to argue with her.

Agree. I like BLT the best. DW is with me. She didn't like WL for all the pine trees (allergies).

I may as well go for some...

Post count padding. The new, addictive PCP

I didn't eat it yet. I was going to eat it on Sunday watching the Giants and drinking Barry's beer. There is no expiration date on it... I hope it will still be good. popcorn::. pirate:

It is not as sweet as the pork. But, few will ever try mutton in a life time, so I thought I'd let you try it.

Morning gents. Probably the last day of school for the week. They are taking about 1/4"-1/2" of snow tonight. When I met with the principal this week though she said they had banked 17 days already by having a longer school day this year. At this rate we are looking at being done the last of April/beginning of May.

I'll take on the challenge for the team, but who gets the bill?

I read Walt Disney: Triumph of the American Imagination last summer. Great book.

Is that the one by Neal Gabler? I enjoyed that one as well.

Pretty sure you know my feelings on the awesomeness of the WL. With all of the "issues" the monorail has been having lately, the boat might be just as good.

As a Cub's fan I just want our streak to end. :sad2:
I love the Cubs. They are that one team that I can always make fun of at any time. Even when the Reds are going through rough patches, they still aren't the Cubs. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

The Colts have an MVP on the roster that never set foot on a field this year, it can't be all bad...
They do have an MVP on the roster for now. I'm pretty sure the O Line and defense were thoroughly exposed this year though. Not sure this is a Championship caliber team anymore, even with Peyton. I think he's basically kept the defense honest the past few years, but the way D Coordinators in this league are, I'm sure they were able to find weaknesses in the offense to exploit this year. I just don't think even Peyton can make the offense click the way it used to.

Not a popular opinion, but it wouldn't bother me to see them trade Peyton for some picks, trade Luck/number one for some picks and work on the O-Line, D-Line and Secondary and grab either RG3 with later 1st round pick or Keenum later in the draft. I may be wrong, wouldn't be the first time, but I really like Keenum.

I am sorry to say the Cubs are a lost cause for long time to come!
:thumbsup2

BTW, I didn't see UCONN or Purdue anywhere on that NBA list :rolleyes1
That's ok. Purdue 112, IU 84. Even if IU goes on a dominant streak, they're a long way from .500.

This should take a few pages up:confused3

Rides or shows to catch a nap at WDW:lmao:

- Universe of Energy:thumbsup2
How will that take a few pages. You pretty much started and ended the discussion in that post.

I say challenge accepted :cool1:
I'm in if we can get somebody else to pay for it. :lmao:

I don't think Mickey Bars would be so great if not shaped like Mickey's head, and more importantly, not eaten at a Disney Park.

This. It's not about what you're eating, it's about where you're eating it.

Speaking of which, I dreamt last night that I visited a friend's restaurant and they had a Club Cool soda dispenser installed, complete with Beverly! I remember asking for a huge jug to fill with Beverly, somehow thinking that would be very impressive to all of you here on the boards. That somehow led to a Beverly drinking contest that included a lot of my old high school classmates. Dear Lord, I even dreamt the taste of it! It was a long arduous contest, and I was feeling kind of punchy towards the end (after around 10 cups), until it was down to just me and another person...and that's when my wife's alarm went off and woke me up. :sad2:

I don't even remember if there was a prize for winning other than bragging rights.

Good morning gents!

Morning gents. It's a cold rainy morning here, no snow yet, though they say we MIGHT get a couple of centimeters tomorrow. Great White North indeed...:rotfl2: I must say though, it is a really good day to be off work. Good napping weather

<--Still tagless.:sad1:

Congrats on the Reds signing Madson. I would have preferred the Phils keep him over Papelbon, to be honest. Good, underrated pitcher.

Heaven help us, we're dreaming of Beverly now.

I just hope your wife knows you well enough so that you didn't have to have a serious talk about why you were mumbling "Beverly" in your sleep. :rotfl2:
