It was not planned. We were married 13 years before we had any kids.

Hmmm - I'm thinking something along the lines of, "Any adult male who shares his love of Disney with a future generation of Disney fans is a DIS Dad."

Such a wonderful way of phrasing things. All that schoolin payed off goood for ya.

Time to go. Coaching girls at Upwards basketball.

We won 14-12. Mine are 2 years apart, but the league was short on players so I played by 2nd grader up with older one on the 3rd/4th grade teams. Both scored a goal each. They get ice cream if they score a basket, and a dollar for each goal after that.

What made me the most proud? We were down 6-10 at half. It was the first game of the season with a crowd, noise, cheerleaders, and they looked a little shot. I gave them a message at half time "TAKE THE BALL". The other team made one basket the entire 2nd half. Shut 'em down.

Now, I'm ready for some football.

Yes, I dated my wife about 3 months before we moved in together. It was love at first sight. Or, perhaps it was finally one who didn't run away screaming after a few dates. I knew right away. We got married a little over a year after our first date.

I'll tell you mine. She had been visiting with me, without ever leaving, for 5 consecutive months. I had the engagement ring. I bought something at the grocery store, don't remember what, and put the engagement ring in the ring box inside the grocery bag.

Now, DW is quite mouthy and bossy. So, I brought home the single grocery bag, ring inside, handed her the bag and said, "put these groceries away", and walked into the next room. She started cussin and mouthin and slammed the bag down on the kitchen counter talking about how she wasn't putting away any groceries. Then I heard silence and a little gasp, so I figured she had found the ring. I returned, went down on one knee, and proposed.
