So today my middle son enters that great big wonder - err - lousy world of teendom. My son is now 13. Officially two teenagers in the house. WOW. Where has the time gone.

Oh yes, then in a little more than 4 more, it'll be my daughter's turn. We've dealt with one as a teen for nearly 3 years now - and we know a lot of what to expect now with the 2nd one since they're both boys. It's the girl I'm not sure what to expect! :confused3

Next month my eldest turns 16... he starts driving school in a week or two. Pray for me. Ugh. I'm not ready for this part of it all.

I'm just noticing that I'm only about 110 posts away from another milestone post. Huh. Fancy that.

Tonight - (Saturday) - the Scouts are having a lock-in to play laser tag - midnight to 6 am. I don't normally stay up this late, but I'm one of the adult leaders (of course I'm going to play as well), so I need to be up a bit later tonight to "get ready" to stay up all night once again. I'm looking forward to it. These lock-ins are always such fun.

It's all girls here for me, and I'm not sure anyone is really ready Sometimes they grow up just too fast :sad2:

I think it's pretty crazy that we've plowed through 59 pages in just 2 days. My, my.

Wow, I haven't been very observant. I just noticed that I was tagged. I have no clue when that happened, but thank you tag fairy.

I'm getting up for my first, I should catch up to you in about 5-6 years :rotfl2:

That sounds pretty cool, whole place to yourselves sounds sweet

I'm so excited to go to Aulani in a couple of weeks.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do while there yet - but I don't care. I'm going to Hawaii. :cool1:

Last night he/she struck apparently.....

Have you had a chance to try out the Disneyland Adventures for Kinect? Is it pretty close to the layout within reason?

Awesome...sounds great. Is it all pleasure, or a working/research vacation?

:rotfl: There's definitely a reason I'm #2 overall in this clubhouse. :rotfl:

I still remember my first. You'll be there soon!

Oh yeah, it is. The place that we go is mostly one level, but has an upper deck over almost half of it, which adds to the fun. We do this once or twice a year, and it's a lot of fun.

It's a working/research trip - but it'll be fun no matter what I do.

I'm definitely planning to explore the island a bit as well. I've been to Hawaii before, but never spent any real time on Oahu. Only as a stop over before going to other islands. This will be my first stay on Oahu without going to another island. Pearl Harbor is definitely on my list of things to see (not that I have a lot on my list ... yet).

Parasailing.

That's something I'd like to do as well.

Maybe I'll do that while I'm there.

I also can't wait to go to Disneyland after Hawaii. I'll be stopping over in LA for a few days before flying home, and staying at VGC. :cool1: I can't wait to go back!

I'd have been higher had I joined up the DDC sooner. I followed a sig-link (possible commando's) to see what it was, but it was a closed thread, somewhere around IV when looking around the DIS. Later on I found the active thread.

I admit I have never done the laser tag thing, watched it before, but never participated.

I need to figure out when we're going to get back out to CA as a family. Definitely after Carsland opens - but we're not sure when yet. It's looking like perhaps it will be either for Fall Break, or Christmas break. But we definitely want to go again this year. Hmmmm....

Oh it is such fun. Last time we had around 65 boys and 15 adults there. I believe we've got around 80 boys signed up and about 20 adults this time around.

It's a great way to hang out, play and just have lots of fun. It's awesome to interact that way.

Plus as part of it all, there's unlimited drinks and pizza all night long. Now if only there were bacon... oh well. I guess you can't have it all.
