So today my middle son enters that great big wonder - err - lousy world of teendom. My son is now 13. Officially two teenagers in the house. WOW. Where has the time gone.
Happy Birthday to him! and thank god I still have6 more years till I deal with a teenager![]()
Oh yes, then in a little more than 4 more, it'll be my daughter's turn. We've dealt with one as a teen for nearly 3 years now - and we know a lot of what to expect now with the 2nd one since they're both boys. It's the girl I'm not sure what to expect!![]()
Next month my eldest turns 16... he starts driving school in a week or two. Pray for me. Ugh. I'm not ready for this part of it all.
It's all girls here for me, and I'm not sure anyone is really ready Sometimes they grow up just too fast![]()
I'm just noticing that I'm only about 110 posts away from another milestone post. Huh. Fancy that.
Tonight - (Saturday) - the Scouts are having a lock-in to play laser tag - midnight to 6 am. I don't normally stay up this late, but I'm one of the adult leaders (of course I'm going to play as well), so I need to be up a bit later tonight to "get ready" to stay up all night once again. I'm looking forward to it. These lock-ins are always such fun.
Wow, I haven't been very observant. I just noticed that I was tagged. I have no clue when that happened, but thank you tag fairy.
I'm so excited to go to Aulani in a couple of weeks.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do while there yet - but I don't care. I'm going to Hawaii.![]()
I'm getting up for my first, I should catch up to you in about 5-6 years![]()
That sounds pretty cool, whole place to yourselves sounds sweet
Awesome...sounds great. Is it all pleasure, or a working/research vacation?
There's definitely a reason I'm #2 overall in this clubhouse.
I still remember my first. You'll be there soon!
Oh yeah, it is. The place that we go is mostly one level, but has an upper deck over almost half of it, which adds to the fun. We do this once or twice a year, and it's a lot of fun.
I admit I have never done the laser tag thing, watched it before, but never participated.
