I'd agree with that assumption. Its strange, I sat next to a meat distributor for the fast food industry on a flight and we talked all about the quality of meat different fast food chains purchased and hardee's by far bought the best meat. It seems so strange the a company would invest so much in a product and so little in ensuring that the product is actually delivered well.

This is one of those "a friend of mine told me" type of stories, so take it with a grain of salt, but here goes. I was chatting with the finance manager at my company at the break room microwave one day, and we started talking about McDonald's chicken nuggets. He said he has a friend that had just started working for a cat food company and ran out to McDonalds one day for lunch, bringing back a pack of McNuggets. His boss asked how he could eat those things, then pointed to a large pile of chicken on the processing floor and said "we barely outbid McDonalds for that that."

Nothing at all. Once after DW and I had put the kids to bed and were settling in to watch an episode of P+F she turned and looked at me and said "isn't it kind of wrong that we put our kids to bed and then watch cartoons"

:lmao: :thumbsup2

Let's just hurry up and get this thing closed. I need to get another TR update posted today. :lmao:

I think your right (good lord did I just actually say that!)

I need to take a break and go do some actual work.
(and some work on my TRs… we’ll see which one takes priority)

Y’all have fun, and I’ll see ya’ latter on.

Got the perfect title for #16 when we get there.

From an old Anamaniacs Cartoon...the Warner Brothers (Yakko and Wakko)...and the Warner Sister (Dot)...are helping Michaelangelo paint the Sistine Chapel...and mayhem insues...

Anyway...Yakko ask Mike..."well if your so great..."

"What did you do with the other 15 Chapels? "

:lmao:

I think this title suggestion got lost in the early mayhem of thread opening.

The chili and cornbread were soooo good last night :cloud9: Of course I ate too much. DW paid for it later... but it was all worth it! :thumbsup2

I actually think the food at Hardees, for the most part, is very good. Love their burgers and their chicken strips. Just like to have my sauce on the strips. The quality of the food is why I keep going back.

What I don't like is the price. It's hard to find fast food that's much more expensive.

Yes, price is high. But, it is the best burger from any FF that I have found.

Nah, the service at my Hardees isn't teenagers. The lady that is always in the drive through when I have problems with my order or missing items is of the older generation and wears enough make up that she looks like a cross between the Joker and a certain character well-known from that other fast food place across the street.:lmao:

I wish we could see more teens returning to work as perhaps that would be a sign the economy is moving in the right direction. We have been luck here, with unemployment being less than 7% for awhile.

:scared1: Gross!

You all are making me nostalic with all of this Hardee's talk. The town I went to high school in (New London for those of you that have heard of it) had two fast food places - Hardee's and McDonalds. The school had open campus for lunch, meaning we could leave, get food, and come back. McDonalds was all the way across town and you ran the risk of not getting back for 5th period if you went there, so Hardees was a safer bet. I had a 1984 2-door Chevy Blazer S-10 a the time, and we'd load 13 kids in that thing for the trip to Hardee's. And no, I didn't go through the drive through. I can't remember the orders of 4 people in the car, let alone 13.

OK.... so... since we pretty much set a world record of blazing through this thread in 9 days... can we slow down a little bit in the next one? :lmao::lmao:

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

really this thread is flying bye faster then the race to the end thread (last thread).

Yeah in general I try and not eat things that look like they come through an extruder. On the other hand "deep fried + honey mustard or bbq sauce" = tasty wonderousness

Morning all y'all. 2nd snow day of the year. We got a dusting. I'm good with it but don't understand why kids that can't get out of bed for school were awake before the alarm this morning.:headache: A cold couple of days and it should melt off. I would love to help you close this today but actually need to get some work done.

I am intrigued about the idea of the "fastest thread", in theory it sounds doable and it wouldn't be anymore incoherent then the usual ramblings. :rotfl2:

This may have come up in a previous thread, but do you ever see a food's list of ingredients, and it has "Mechanically Separated Chicken"?
I really want to see that machine...
