Nate!!! Nice to see ya, buddy! I have a sneaky feeling those guys are going to make an appearance in another thread very soon... :rolleyes1

OK.... so... since we pretty much set a world record of blazing through this thread in 9 days... can we slow down a little bit in the next one? :lmao::lmao:

I think we need to all just agree on a day and then work together to see if we can set the DIS record for the fastest thread from open to close.

If we assume 350 pages that would mean we'd need 5250 posts. If we could get 100 dads to post thats only 52 posts per person Assuming 1 post per minute we could theororetically take a thread from open to closed in less than an hour.

i agree. I thought we had the race thread (last post to win) and sub-forum to slow this down.

You’d think…

It reminds me of a line from “Red October”:

“At that speed, they could run right over my daughter's stereo and not hear it.”

An hour?!? :eek::eek:

Technically, they close them at 250. So.... we could have it done in about 45 minutes... :lmao:

I think is a general business culture of indifference within the chain itself.
The single best meal I ever had at one was cold, missing only one of the items I ordered, had the rest of the order wrong, and took way too long to get to the counter (and was bland tasting as well).

That was their single best attempt in multiple attempt across nearly thirty years.
I keep going back every so often assuming the every other visit must have been a fluke.

Doesn’t make me want to give them any more chances
I actually think the food at Hardees, for the most part, is very good. Love their burgers and their chicken strips. Just like to have my sauce on the strips. The quality of the food is why I keep going back.

What I don't like is the price. It's hard to find fast food that's much more expensive.

The service at the one I go to for lunch is also a bit... well, slow. And obviously, occasionally a bit flawed.

I don't want to make this a generational thing, but I think it has all to do with the teenage employees. Every time I've had an issue with Fast food service, a teenager was the one serving/waiting on me. I think it's because they don't appreciate having the job. They know they're not going to stay there very long especially once they graduate, some may be working there because their parents are making them, and some figure "who cares if I get fired, I can just get a job elsewhere, and besides, I can always get money from Mommy and Daddy if I really need it." Compare that to the older people that work there, and they are usually on the ball because they appreciate having the job more.

TL
Nah, the service at my Hardees isn't teenagers. The lady that is always in the drive through when I have problems with my order or missing items is of the older generation and wears enough make up that she looks like a cross between the Joker and a certain character well-known from that other fast food place across the street.:lmao:

I'm thinking I might need a burger today... not sure why :confused3

Let's just hurry up and get this thing closed. I need to get another TR update posted today. :lmao:

There seems to be about 10 offenders on this list.

I don't know... :sad2:

MiL decided she needed to set up a bowling party for the 20-30 year old Sunday School group next Sunday too. Thankfully, the bolwing alley has about a 10 foot wide projection screen that they always play the games on, so I requested that she book the lanes right in front of it. :thumbsup2

Personally, I'd like to be at home on a Sunday afternoon at some point this month. I pay a lot of money for my house and the furnishings inside it. I kind of like to get some use from it.:lmao::rotfl2:

I didn't pay a lot for my furnishings, but I still want to be home to use them. But, it's better to have 20 children sugared up at bowling then in my house.

Hmmm... I feel that watching cartoons with a toddler rather than watching it alone, would keep me out of th old folks home! (they already think I'm crazy):rotfl2:

I don't think that will save you from the home. We still think you're crazy.

I was thinking the mods might have a hard time keeping up so it'd probably run long

There's nothing wrong with watching cartoons alone. :rolleyes1

Nothing at all. Once after DW and I had put the kids to bed and were settling in to watch an episode of P+F she turned and looked at me and said "isn't it kind of wrong that we put our kids to bed and then watch cartoons"
