But it is melting on contact. This doesn't look very good for any sledding potential.

We're supposed to get that same storm later tonight into tomorrow. Supposedly 3-6" for us by Friday afternoon. We could see more if the wind blows just right off of the lake. Gotta love Lake Effect snow!

If we're talking TV cartoons, here are my recommendations:

The Looney Toons Show (the new one on Cartoon Network)
Fan Boy & Chum-Chum (Nickelodeon)
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (The Hub)
Dan Vs. (The Hub)

I've only caught a couple of episodes, but the new Kung Fu Panda series on Nickelodeon is pretty good too, very faithful to the movies.

Too true. My house is less than a mile from the lake, so if anyone gets it, it's me. Luckily, it's usually Michigan and anyone east of the lakes that get hit the hardest.

Doc Emerick, the Hockey play by play guy, has the most unmistakable voice I think I've ever heard.

Doc Hudson had a pretty memorable voice as did Doc Brown. Yeah I tried to play the Doc game and could only come up with fictional characters

In all seriousness, I get some looks when I admit I like Squidbillies... Especially from people who have never heard of it. Yes, it is real. Yes, it is about hillbillies who are squids. Yes, it is as non-PC as you are imagining... Then I get the look...
