Just a quick in from DCa while we're waiting for WOC to start.
Here's what I'm staring at while we wait.

So glad you're doing WOC! I hope you enjoy it.

I was at MVMCP tonight, enjoyed "Holiday Wishes", but I wasn't very impressed though with the "Once Upon a Christmastime Parade", I will say. The decorations appear to be even sparser than they were last year too, which were less than the year before. The hot chocolate was good, but they really ought to have an alternate cookie choice...I don't like sugar cookies; gingerbread would be a good alternate.

I'd really like to get to a MVMCP. I had to provide our family with hot chocolate ( It's chilly out here) and instead of cookies we opted for corn dogs. So far the whole family really likes this DL and DCA. DD loved the Matterhorn, and we all liked small world (yes even me).

Well, as a matter of fact...I am going to be getting rid of my stone by Thursday one way or the other!! IfI dont pass it by then..and I doubt I will at this point....they are going to go fishing for it!! Shudders at the thought of it..but oh well..I will be asleep!!

Hey guys. Been offline for a few days. I was in San Fran last week, had my parents in town for a quick pre-Christmas visit with the grandkids and I'm off to Miami tomorrow. Been a crazy week.

I think this might have got lost in the Thread Shuffle but I wanted to post again about the DisDad Holiday Card Exchange.

Snacks for the trip will be purchased today. Bags today or tomorrow. Pick DD and her friend up Friday at noon and off to the World. Will miss stopher by a day but hope to meet up with Aaron. Going to be a quick but hopefully fun trip.

It must have been sugar cookie night or something, as Istopped in at each treat stationand that's all they had. The apples qwere a great alternative, which I did enjo one bag of, after so many offers of cookies I don't really like. I did slosh away though, having enjoyed many cups of cocoa. It wasn't cold at all either (unlike last December's party night) - so I didn't need cocoa - I just felt like it. Plus I had a cup for each member of chill's family, since we did the party together last year but they couldn't join me this year.

Well the grumpy old man at least knew what inspired the design for the show, even though WOC is much better.

I LOVE their corn dogs! The Matterhorn . IASWH... it does have a lot about the various holiday thrown in, you just have to look for it all. I especially like the revised soundtrack. But even without the holiday overlay, I very much prefer DL's SW to the WDW version. I rode it last night and was bored. There are too many open spaces, not as many nationalities/ countries represented, not as much in each sequence. I just really prefer the original. Some things were improved for Florida, some were not...some like IASW were actually lessened - SW falls in that category here in FL.

Oh, I forgot to tell you guys about this... last night was fun. I'm only home for 4 evenings after vacation before I have to leave for a conference, so obviously, I have things I need to get done... I find out when I get home from work yesterday that the in-laws are coming over. DW then shows them pictures and videos from the trip.

Didn't realize she videoed It's a Small World.

I just saw that my post count is 6. Six! That’s unacceptable. Can one of y’all tell me what the heck it was that I was doing that has kept me off of here to that extent? Well at least now it up to seven (I’ve got to work on that).

Well, as a matter of fact...I am going to be getting rid of my stone by Thursday one way or the other!! IfI dont pass it by then..and I doubt I will at this point....they are going to go fishing for it!! Shudders at the thought of it..but oh well..I will be asleep!!

I hope it doesn’t come to this, but it’s good to know that the problem will be getting solved one way or another. Being asleep at the time will be a plus (to be sure).

But… I suspect that a lot of guys will just see this as a sign that she’s unpretentious and a fun girl to hang around with, so I’m not sure how much of a deterrent it would be in the long run.

That’s a lot of traveling around. You need to find a way to detour though the Orlando area on your way home from Miami.
