Yeah, just like the Tri-State Disdad meet! pirate:

hey hey there.not my fault it was set up to be dead smack into little league season. I spend over 40 hrs a week putting my time in there so when was I going to find time to see you ?:rotfl2:

I have a little time this evening so I thought it would be good to post a few updates:
DW: My DW had the last of her 25 scheduled radiation treatments yesterday. She is feeling better in some ways and worse in others, specifically the numbness in her legs and feet, which seems to be spreading. We were told she could start to see some improvement in about 10 days or so but there is no quarantee the numbness will subside or that her nerves will return to "normal". She's glad to be done with the radiation.
Our Pathfinder: I got a buyback offer from Nissan for our Pathfiner that was totalled due to the corrosion recall. The original offer was $4400 but I got them up to $6000. I'm happy with that but I'll still miss my Pathfinder, especially during snow storms.
Blue Angels: Our son completed his first year with the Blues, which turned out to be very successful despite the resignation of their CO in May. David is now the 1-Alpha Geek, or the lead Crew Chief for the commanding officer's jet, blue jet #1. That should mean he gets to pick his shows for the upcoming 2012 season, one of which is Hawaii in September!

Prayers are going out to those with family members in need (Scott, DaveZ, etc). I don't get much time on the boards so I'm sorry if I missed anyone. For those currently at a Disney park, have fun and don't forget the Dole Whip!

My talk is on "Clinical Factors and Response to Albuterol in Wheezing Infants with Bronchiolitis and Respiratory Failure". (or as my DW would say, Blah, Blah, Blah) Lots of fun :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

For our DD, Albuterol sent her heart rate soaring. :scared1: Xopenex did the job for her without that side effect. Thankfully, DD's occurences have decreased (almost a full year without needing a Xopenex treatment) and the Doctor may take her off the preventative treatments of Flovent if she makes it to the end of the year without any more issues.

Would it help your lecture if we came along?? :rolleyes1

Dive gear put away for the winter. Still working on the lights outside. Maybe the tree tomorrow.

However, tomorrow morning I will be on the phone to DVC to try to reserve a week in Aluani. Have heard recently they are tough to get at 7 months. Wish me luck.
good luck!!!! :thumbsup2

Well, Ethan brought home a letter this evening adressed to "The Parents of...." . I was sick. When you get a letter like that it is usually not a good thing..however, this time is was great!:cool1: We was chosen as the December character counts winner for his school. Each month a kid is chosen that reflects that character word...this months word is "Caring"...I was so proud of him. That child has one of the biggest hearts I have ever seen in a child. I know we have a brag thread...but I wanted to share here where there is more traffic LOL Ok call me a show off!:rotfl2:

Way to go Ethan. Not a show off at all, just a proud dad. With good reason.

Sadly, I understand what this topic is about and suspect that I would be interested in the content of the talk, even though I no longer have any infants at home. :-|

Sorry about that!

Very happy to hear about finishing radiation. Hope she starts to feel better soon! Will keep praying for you all! And congrats to your son! Hawaii in Sept sounds sweet

Nice Job David! I don't see Milwaukee on their 2012 schedule, but I think I'll try to sneak down to Chicago this year. :thumbsup2

Killer Fantasy Weekend ownage.

From DDC XII

Do you still feel that way. Is a good chance of it now.
I know there is a lot of football to go yet but it is what it is, and with two more wins and Chicago, Detroit, and San Fran losing one of their next games the Packers will have the division, homefield adv., and first round bye.

Dude, you actually went back and found that quote?

Caption Obvious,

You there?

Oh, excuse me, did I get that wrong again? :confused3

I like Caption O as well. Maybe Caption .6O.

WDW has all kinds of things for the holiday season during that time.

- If you are there the first weekend (usually), you can see the Disney X-Mas parade taping, a star studded event, that is rebroadcast on ABC X-mas day
- MVMCP (MK)
- Holidays around the World (Epcot)
- Candlelight Processional (Epcot)
- Osborne Family Lights (DHS)

And the best thing about it is the crowds are generally realllllly low that early in December.

Have an awesome time.

Come to think of it - wasn't that the time of year there was talk of a DISDad's Disney Meet?

Originally, I voted for a summer trip. But, I would love to talk DW into going to WDW the school break week before Christmas. Twist my arm.
