I'll second and add that the reason those conversations occurred without conflict was that both sides expressed themselves to each other. As in our deleted thread, when Dave asked that his picture be removed, it was. So, I would like to add to that Man Law, if possible, that if you find a person's post objectionable, then go directly to that person about the matter and allow a reasonable amount of time to correct it.

I just got home from Toys R Us.. I picked up an 8g ipod touch for $199 and got a $50 gift card. I thought that was a good deal.

Sounds good. I have all my technology stuff for Christmas. I debated on a new tablet or netbook for home, but decided against it.

Morning all. Leaving for the Keys shortly. Temps in the mid 70's, 0% chance of rain. Problem is the wind. Very high and coming from the East. Means for garbage diving. Will still get a couple of dives in this weekend. The boat will be rocking but if I get any decent pics, I'll post them here. Have a great weekend everyone.

good morning all!!! glad to see we have everyone back!!! i dont have a problem with anyone on here. i look forward to logging in everyday and mis spelling things with everyone. im also flattered that if i dont log on for a few days, work can get nuts sometimes, my cell phone is going nuts from guys wondering if im ok. there are some guys on this thread that care more about me than some family members. which some guys here i have never met and the others i only met one time. as i said before, im proud to be a disdad and glad i found this thread. anyway, anyone see or hear from our southern popsicle fed????last i herd the little fella was getting cold in the 60 degree georgia air. must be out waxing his spinners on his minivan!!

Just finished Job #1... scheduled 4am-12pm, but for all intents and purposes, I am free to go, and Job #2 isn't expecting me until 12... so I have a nice, extended early lunch.

Apparently Wal-marts are a dangerous place to be today, so in all seriousness, be careful if you are going out there to shop. If somebody starts fighting with you, it might be best to walk away. In addition to a couple of robbery related shootings, we were reporting that a woman unleashed pepper spray on other shoppers in a store. It's nuts! That's why I prefer Cyber Monday over Black Friday.

Well I got up this morning and noticed my green font in a response and thought...."I didnt type that".....Then I looked at the time....so I guess I too have learned a lesson....Don't get on Dis after having Percoset and Lunesta with a nyquil chaser!!!! I have no recolection of this response to Paul but I am glad he is still here none the less LOL Thank goodness I did not post any pictures

Are you stone free yet? My back is still hurting (2 weeks now) and I have basketball practice Monday.

Still hae the stone...had to make a reapeat appearance at the ER last Tuesday night...worse pain than the last time...can't get into to see the urologist until this coming Tuesday so I am taking the percosets to try to keep the pain from getting out of control again....they said the stone seeems to be impacted and will more than likely require a retrieval procedure....

Hey stopher. Long time no see.

Proud of my wife today. She worked 7p to 7a last night/this morning, then I picked her up from work and she toughed it out shopping until about lunch. Of course, it only took her about 2.41224 seconds to go to sleep when she hit the pillow, but I think that she enjoyed the shopping and the "progress" that we made with our Christmas stash.

I am relating. My FIL seems to think that the three announcers doing the Hawks/Cornhuskers game aren't doing a good enough job because he is doing play by play for me too. This is a step above his commentary during the Price Is Right show earlier in the day.

Thank goodness for the laptop and disboards to distract me. Just getting caught up on the last 36 hours.

I was able to get the Cowboys game, but then, MIL started the DVR of Mike and Molly episodes on Volume 20 billion. She doesn't have Wi-fi so I can't bring a laptop. I guess I'll bring my phone charger next time.

at least they had a tv!!! my inlaws dont watch tv. they have a small 13 inch in the family room(down stairs)so my mother-in-law can watch the stock market but thats it. they live in the woods so at least in the summer we sit outside on there huge deck and i can count the leafs when my father-in-law isnt showing me his garden. i laugh, he plants this garden in the spring, spent 90 percent of the time at the shore all summer and cant figure out why nothing grows. "must be the oak trees around here".
he shot a deer this year so that took two hours of the day him telling the story. he started telling me and i said, "wait, let me use the bathroom quick." once he starts, it was going to take some time to get through it.
