DDA's New Year's Weight Loss accountability Thread

Thanks, guys! It was that bowl of Peanut M&Ms sitting out on the table all day Sunday that got me way off track for a day or two. It also reminded me why I put my portion of whatever snack into it's own container. I have no self-control when eating out of the big container.
 
I am bad with M & M's with peanuts, I can't stop myself lol I am the same way though, I have to portion my snacks which is something I never use to do.

Dh kept eating ice cream on waffle cones last week & I finally gave in & had one. I felt bad, but it was soooooo good!

I forgot to post my weigh in this week..I lost 3.8 lbs..so my total so far is 9.5lbs lost!!!!!:banana:

Don't feel bad! You gotta give in to those cravings sometimes or you're likely to sabotage yourself. Just watch your portions and don't give in every time and you'l do great! (Just take a look at that ticker of yours!!)

Chris and I and our boys are all starting a 2 week body cleansing :lmao: We are going to eat healthier and see if we are feeling better at the end of the 2 weeks. I hope this is a great jump start for Chris and I and Nick would like to be slimmer for bathing suit weather. Hunter eats healthy anyway so it really won't effect him. Colby is becoming a little porker so helping him find healthy options will be beneficial.

How's the healthy eating going Deb? Is it making a difference? I know it did for me. I really need to get back to it. I'm back to eating too much and not the right foods. I can feel the difference in the way I feel and the way my clothes fit.

We all had a good week until we went away. It is hard to have all of us eat healthy when we are not at home. I did see something amazing. Nick actually chose a diet soda out of a vending machine full of regular sodas. That was a huge step for him.

Well i weighed in today and i am down to 150.5..i started last week at 152..so im happy with that! Especially bc i erally havent been exercising..i figure right now im goign to focus on watching what im eating and drinking lots of water..the next 3 weeks are going to be rough so i dont want to add to it. but a loss is a loss right?!

I think I might be at a stand still with my weight, unless I do start exercising :rolleyes1

Well i weighed in today and i am down to 150.5..i started last week at 152..so im happy with that! Especially bc i erally havent been exercising..i figure right now im goign to focus on watching what im eating and drinking lots of water..the next 3 weeks are going to be rough so i dont want to add to it. but a loss is a loss right?!

Just got home from WW's..I am down .2lb:headache: I was so good this week I don't know what happened. I journalen every bite, I kept within my points, I drank my water...My meeting leader said "well it's still .2 in the right direction" I know she is right but...:mad: Anyway all I can do is keep eating well & tracking my points..hopefully its something hormonal & I will see a bigger loss next week.:confused3
 
Hi all! How is everyone doing?

I need some suggestions. I have been doing pretty good at watching what I eat, but I am getting so tired of chicken! I like fish, but I don't like to cook it(to smelly lol). What do you all eat, to mix it up? I am at a point where I am scared I am going to go backwards so I can eat something different & I don't want the scale to go up!

Times like this I get so frustrated & wonder why I can't be like some & eat what I want & not have to worry about it. I just hate eating something that I really enjoy & then feeling guilty. Why does it have to be this way?

Maybe I am just having a bad week :confused3
 
We buy a lot of the smart ones or lean cuisine meals. The points are already counted so they are easy and they have a great variety.

So I'm back to confess again. I have gained somewhere between 5 to 10 pounds since January. It was about 10 but I think it is now closer to 5 pounds. Not really sure. I really need to get myself back on track, but my life has been so crazy it is the last thing on my mind.

The other thing is it is so hard to convince yourself you need to keep losing when everyone keeps telling you, you look fantastic and keep asking how much more weight I have lost. I tell them I have actually gained some back and they look at me like I have 2 heads. It really isn't just a case of muscle gain as some of my clothing got tighter. Or that my driver's license picture can't be me.:laughing: I have gotten a few, is that really you when I needed to show people my drivers license, good thing I am up for a new license in June.:thumbsup2 Although I truly dislike the DMV.

Enough about me, congrats to all of you who are losing keep up the good work.
