Well, I'm back. I didn't break the 30lb mark. I stayed the same this week :confused3 :sad2: :furious:

Oh well, I AM going to break that 30lb mark next week. I know I can do it. I will watch extra careful this week & try to get in more walking. Not sure what happened this week.

Good job Beth & Anne Marie on sticking to your healthy eating.

It sure is hard some days, but we have a good group here & the support really does help. :grouphug:

I guess I will just keep swimming :fish: , just keep swimming :fish: (like Dori--this is what my husband tells me to do when I get discouraged.)

You will make it! Our bodies can be funny and stay the same for so many reasons. In the end, if you do what you are supposed to do, you will lose the weight! CONGRATS on getting so far!

Tuesday is my weigh-in day too. I was hoping to break the 40 pounds lost barrier, but it was not to be this week. I suppose a lot has to do with everything that has gone on in the past week, but it was still alittle disappointing. However, on the bright side... I have lost 38 pound total so far. So, for that I am happy. I suppose I could have gotten on the scales this a.m. and gained weight! :)

Good work everyone!

Great job!!!

Beth

Today was my first official weigh-in day. I lost 9 pounds this week! I know that it's water, etc., but it has to come off sometime.

I'm making little guys for my signature for every 5 pounds. Pooh is starting me off today with -5.

I know we will, Melanie! Keep it up!! :cool1:

I may be sharing a little more than ya'll are used to but oh well. It is easier for me to keep up with my actual weight than how many lbs I have lost. Last week on 4/19 I weighed 223.............1 week and 1 day later I weight 220......yeah ME :cheer2:

Keep in mind I even had Cheesecake Factory with Denise and Julia on Tuesday night.

WTG!!!!! We love hearing from everybody as much as they want to post! That's what this thread is here for. Everyone has a different need. I haven't posted much lately myself because I'm at a plateau. Maintaining right now which is good but I really want to lose another 10-15 pounds so have to start an exercise plan. Too lazy to do so yet. With summer truly approaching, I will have to start soon since I'm a counselor at Girl Scout camp for two weeks and I'm usually in charge of an adventure group.

I'm here, reading along. Congratulations to all of you losing weight!! I am pretty much not doing anything right this minute (as in productive).

I had lost 11 pounds since February, which was great for me! I've gained 3 of it back in the last few weeks, because I haven't been able to get on a routine and focus on eating right. Most of my "meals" have been candy or a real soda. Now that I'm done with overnight stuff messing with my schedule, hopefully I can get back on track soon. :guilty:

I have decided that I need to tell Kyle about our trip by 30 days out. I think he would leave me if we just showed up to our destination and he had no warning to prepare for bathing suit season :rolleyes1

So I hope that by then (next Thursday, May 4th) I will have a plan for both of us to kick it into really high gear. I think if we are really serious about diet and exercise, we might be ready by then.... hopefully!

Paula--Great job getting that candy out of your house!

Beth

Beth I just found the Reeses peanut butter eggs last night and I have yet to toss them. They are my favoritest, most favorite, I love them! I did not eat any, but I sure looked a them a lot. Today is trash day and I hope I can get them in the trash before I take Ellie to school, and then they will be gone FOREVER.

So I told DH on the phone (he’s gone right now) that I have a few people how I am accountable for my daily food intake. And that they are helping me to stay on track.

With that said… I thank you all for staying in my head when I decide what to eat to not eat.

Have a good weight loss day!

I had an entire month with out a gain or loss and it drove me nuts. I think it was just a stand off with my system and I finally won, it was only a few ounces, but I won and then it started to come down a little at a time again.

Don’t get stressed, sometimes our bodies take a break.

Vicki and Jennifer we can drop these pounds!!!! (I am saying this out load while typing, because if you say it… you can do it)

Everyone pick a goal for the weekend, say it out load, post it and say it again.

We will all meet our goals together!

My weekend goal is to drink more water than coffee and make a low point snack I will be able to have for the coming week.

You are all such great inspirations. My goal is to get in some exercise. I did a lot last night since I had to be a good role model for my sons and I am on course with the dieting. I hope that the scale moves soon. It is so frustrating. I will stick with it though.

Sounds like Jiminy Cricket needs to get on the ball! Sorry I've kind of dropped off. I promise I'll be better. So, what's your exercise goal for the week? I'll get on your case again, I promise! Cross my heart!

I woke up with a pounding headache, but got on the treadmill anyway, I jogged for 10 minutes and then had to stop as my head was killing me. I took some Tylenol, and plan on getting back on the treadmill as soon as the twins are napping. It was frustrating having to stop this morning, but I just couldn't do anymore at all! I'm not going to beat myself up about this anymore. I just need to accept what happened, and go on from here.

On the plus side, I broke into the 139 pound range. I haven't been this weight in 16 years, so it feels really good! It's hard to believe that I started out at 221 pounds! I'm starting to believe what the mirror and the scale are showing me.

Well, if I had a cruise to look forward to, that would be the biggest motivator of all! I think it's good that you are telling him 30 days out! You guys can motivate each other to be good for those 30 days and get cruise ready!
