I am not sure. Are you 100% sure that the email is totally gone. I know with some of my email accounts when I delete them it moves them elsewhere.

As for the promotion, I know it has a code number that use to activate the promotion. In the past I have received a paper copy of the promotion as well. So you might receive one like that as well.

Thanks, Becky. I did find the email, not in my "recently deleted" but in my inbox, amongst many emails from my boss.

She got home today from the hospital and is bored to tears. Unfortunately for her (and probably me ) she has at least a month of PT and recovery from her knee replacement. She cannot get around well at all yet and she is not a patient person! Should be interesting!

Wow! Most places around here are limiting the sale to one per person. That was sweet of you to think of me while you were there!

The manager at Circuit City said that if I was willing to "drive a little" they are a lot easier to buy in other areas. For some reason people in our little corner of the world are heck-bent on having them now, I guess.

I wonder how far away 'other areas' are?

Oh, dear. Uncle1 just e-mailed that Uncle2's sister has breast cancer. They lost their mom to breast cancer many years ago. She is having surgery on Thursday, which is the same day the Uncles have to leave for an out of town wedding. So sad. I hope everything goes well for her. Another one of their sisters has battled cancer already, but I don't think it was breast cancer.

Thanks! I met her once at a birthday party. She is very sweet. Uncle1 was just getting in from a business trip so he didn't give me any details. Hopefully they caught it early and she will be fine.

Today they start the window replacement. Momboss said I can come in at 9:30 because she wants to talk with the workers and they won't arrive until then, so she's going in to work later than usual.

I am off, I guess. I have the highest of hopes (and a continuing string of prayers) that this week will be a vast improvement over last. We will head to the liberry today and maybe the park for a little while if the humidity is low enough to allow me to breathe easily enough. Otherwise, we'll probably just hang out at home as Monday's too often indicate too much activity with not enough rest from the weekend. Have a good day everyone!

Alyssa's Drama Camp starts today and runs through Friday 9am-12pm. I can't wait to see how she likes it. Then I get to come home and do laundry. FUN! It is cloudy and rainy here today. Oh and this is my last week of vacation.

Mondays can be tough. Not so much with Princess, but they were tough with Brother & Sister. I hope this week goes well!

Hey all...Can you all spare some pixie dust for Lucy, please?

She woke us up crying at 10:30, she was hot so I took her temperature and it was 103.6. She also seemed to be having trouble breathing. We called and got her an appt at the urgent care clinic at 11:10. Eric is still there with her and her fever is now up to 105. Apparently, they are short staffed so he's been waiting.

Tammi- I am glad that you got a diagnosis for Nicholas, hope he starts to feel better soon. Your dinner sounded delicious.

Marci- Your weekend sounds heavenly, enjoy every minute of it.

Elizabeth- for more Disney money!!

Jennifer- Hope Olivia's party was a success.

Her ears and throat look good. They drew blood and her white blood count was a little high. We had given her Tylenol before we put her down for bed as she had a slight fever of 99.1. They did give her Motrin and it brought the fever down to 104. The dr. said just to keep giving her the Motrin and if the fever isn't below 100 by Monday to take her to her pediatrician. The dr. said it was probably her teeth, but she has cut all 4 of the top ones. I can't imagine she is going to get any more in that soon that would spike her fever. And she never got a fever with those 4 teeth.

I will tell you, in 15 years of nannying I have NEVER heard of a fever that high from teeth. Teething fevers tend to be low grade, and some doctors don't believe that even low grade fevers are caused by teething.
The only time DS had a fever that high it was his ears. Since Lucy's ears are clear I am not sure what to think. DS was also older than 12-13 mos. when that happened - he was preschool age. I hope she feels better today!! I would definitely be calling the pediatrician tomorrow, just to get their input. I have never seen Tylenol work for anything. Ibuprofen is much more effective, and like Jennifer mentioned, for high fever I like to alternate Tylenol and Motrin every 3 hours.

glad to hear her ears and throat were clear. I agree with Elizabeth and Jennifer alternate the tylenol and motrin. I hope you were able to see the Pedi today. I have never heard of teething causing a fever that high either.

Tammi hugs for Nicholas. Olivia was diagnoised with asthma this winter. we had to give her daily breathing treatments. hopefully it wont be a problem this winter coming up.
