Deb-I bought Colby a little something today but want your permission before I send it to him as well it isn't so little.

They had these on clearance at my local grocery store:

I know he's a Doc Hudson fan but wasn't sure you had the room or desire to put up a 5 foot sticker.

Let me know what you think and if is OK if I should sent it now or wait til after your trip.

Lizzy's feeling a bit better today but not 100% yet. Emma had a fever of 102.5 when I got home from work but that is down now that she's had advil. We watched Cars and she seems to be feeling a lot better. She's still awake because she napped so much today. She wants some more attention though so I better get back to her.

Yea for an extra day! Don't feel bad my budget is out the window too :rolleyes1

Sounds like you are doing good with going to the gym :thumbsup2

So thanks to all my enabler friends here I was able to snag an AP rate for August. We did have to change to AS Sports, I hope I don't regret it. We've stayed there a few times with Cheerleading and it is ok, I was tempted to move up to a mod, but this was supposed to be a no frills, budget trip. The AP rate ended up costing me an additional $279, but that was with adding the DP and adding another day. We will now be arriving on the 12th, there goes the BUDGET!
.

All I can say is WOW! Thanks for sharing!

Hi, Hope you are all doing well.

Check this out, it is amazing what one can do with photoshop.

I am headed to bed. I am still tired.

WTG Bernadette :cool1:

:woohoo: Good for you going to the gym. I've been doing pretty well since I got my mind made up to actually commit to loosing weight. I started last Wed bringing my lunch to work and have done so every day since. I think I've lost about 5-6 pounds.

What's a trip budget? :confused3

Debbie - Congrats on going to the gym!

Now Diva has decided to behave in the way I expect her to behave. Mom told her to be home at midnight. She wanted to stay overnight at our cousin's, but Mom said no. She called at 11:20 with some stupid story about gas is so expensive that she needs to stay overnight. Mom said we'll come pick her up.:headache: I don't WANT to go out at midnight to pick her up! She called back at 11:40. This boy she was dating is leaving for boot camp on Monday and he JUST showed up so she HAS to stay and visit. Um, NO! I told her I don't appreciate her making Mom all mad. So Mom told her 12:15. But now I have to sit here and wait to see if I can go to bed OR if I have to go get in the car and chase after Diva.
Her relationship with that boy is very unhealthy - they broke up but they can't seem to leave each other alone or just be friends. He is too old for her. But Mom 1) gave in and 2) failed to give her a consequence for not being home on time, so this could easily drag on all night.
I am sleeping on a love seat, so it's not like I am going to get a decent night's rest. That's not the point, though. Diva refuses to follow directions, even though Mom is 3 days post-op. Diva KNOWS Mom doesn't feel well, yet here she is, calling in the middle of the night to argue about what time she's coming home. :stir:

Elizabeth I hope you weren't up to late last night!

I really should take my own advice and pack for our weekend trip. We hope to leave by 5pm today but I have not anything packed nor have I really thought about it! But I'm not having a baby ;)

I hope you have a fun weekend! Maybe by the time you get back, I'll be able to say my own bag is packed. :teeth:

So not only did I have a tick on me after doing my yard work, I've also learned that I've got poison ivy. Beings as though I've never had it, I had Elin confirm it. I was itchy afterwards but just thought it was because I had been out in the dirt and weeds. Little did I know what I was trimming down was poison ivy. It is getting progressively worse and I've broken out the cortizone cream.

Poor you! I hope it's not too itchy!

I'm home, I survived, I wouldn't want to do it again, and my bladder is extremely irritated/uncomfortable/burning. They gave me an antibiotic and medicine to relax the bladder and relieve the irritation. Said to take 800mg of Advil and have a drink! So, I'm having a glass of wine, standing up (sitting really hurts), DISing and looking at cruises! I definitely need the surgery, so it's a go for July 8.

I've got to go make sure everything is packed for the b'day party, and I'll be back later.

I hope you were able to get a good night's sleep and BK's party was a great success. :wizard: for the boys' party too...can't wait to see some pictures!

We had a wonderful time! :goodvibes

A slideshow...

What a neat slideshow! No picture of YOU though! ;)

The Snoop Dog himself!;)

We had a really nice time. Cedar Point has really changed alot over the last decade. Lots of kids areas in several areas of the park. New restaurants with table service. Leighanna would love to go back again. I think next time we will stay on site and do it in a couple of days. There was an awful lot to take in on one full day!

Great pictures, Tom! I agree, Cedar Point has changed a lot, and it's still one of my favorite places ever. We have the Cedar Fair platinum pass, and I'm really hoping we figure out a way to visit CP this season!

and that would be one of the reasons why I am looking for another job...the boneheads I work with.

nada....i have 6 more days of work at Goddard and its hard not knwoing for sure whats happening in the fall..if im not getting a job, i wish i cuold just know so i could work on the sub stuff and plan !

Lots of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for both of you on the job front!!!

So I posted on the "What's for dinner" thread and asked about Glynis, no response yet.

I'm about to drop, I've made myself go to the gym everyday after work, and I try to do a little more each day. Hopefully this will also help me deal with the heat in August.

I've also been lurking on the WFD thread to see if Glynis pops in...thanks for posting!

You should really give yourself a big pat on the back for your motivation!

I'm sorry Elizabeth. I know she's under your skin, and she's coming across as being very, very selfish, but try to keep in mind, she's coping, too. Teenagers are aliens! (Believe me, I look back on some of my antics, and WOW! I also had the pleasure of teaching/advising about 2000 of them, and double-WOW! ).

Hang in there!

Today is our 45 day mark :cool1:

Yay! And I'm relieved for you that your water ban/boil issue is lifted!

My daughter slept in until 8 a.m. all week, but she chooses Saturday morning to wake up at 6:45 a.m. :rolleyes1 So, I brought her downstairs, so the boys can sleep, and I got some Kings Island pictures uploaded. :)

Happy Father's Day, Kevin!

Time to swing (poor Matty is too short for this ride):

IMG_0882.jpg

First time on the bumper cars. She chickened-out at least four times last summer. Matty's not tall enough for this one either:

Yay! He's tall enough to ride the Sporticopters!

IMG_0896.jpg

And here's a ride they can go on together!

Matty's so happy to ride Dora's train:

Alas, Matty's not tall enough for this one, but Kevin and Alyssa had fun on Plankton's Plunge:

Not at King's Island, but a popsicle break after swim lessons:

Off to play Webkinz...

I hope everyone has a great Saturday! :wave2:

Love the pictures Amy, your kids are such cuties!

I went back a few pages and saw LOTS of wonderful pictures! I really appreciate all the summer themed ones, considering I have no idea it's time for summer activities! :rotfl: I was just nothing but pregnant, then hospitalized.... but today we're going for a walk! Let summer begin! :yay:

Anyone care to give me important updates? Then, I am actually planning to stay quasi caught up, since I do get on the computer fairly often for brief periods of time. Alas, still no love for my Webkinz.... I was just staring at my Gem checklist, wondering how many gems I have missed ;)

Off to wake the girls for breakfast (aack, I know -- never wake a sleeping baby. :faint: I wish that were possible, but not for a few more weeks at least until they hit term!). Please keep Kyle in your prayers, if you remember. He is starting to really feel a bit stressed. Neither of us have flinched at the care of newborns, but the lack of sleep is bothering him -- mostly because he doesn't feel like himself, so he's in this strange funk. He doesn't do well on little sleep, and while the girls are actually doing great sleeping, it's not what he's used to!

Me, I might get there eventually, but I continue to get MORE sleep than I have in months, so I feel this fantastic false sense that everything is a breeze! ;) My biggest complaint is that the days just go too quickly :rolleyes1 Well, that and that my legs alone look like I have on a fat suit (we're talking "Shallow Hal" size suit here!) :rotfl:

ETA: Kyle goes back to work on Monday, too, so I'm really concerned about how he'll do trying to balance that as well!

Elizabeth - I agree that Diva needs a wake-up call. And I know just the sister who can give it to her. Hang in there.
