It's 8 o'clock.....do I torment my family and make them get up and clean or do I enjoy the time to myself.....decisions, decisions:confused3

Love the pictures Amy, your kids are such cuties!

Thank you, Janet! :)

Amy cute pictures.

Thank you, Heidi! :)

nope... I haven't perfected the art of the self-portrait yet. Tammi took some photos so I know I am in at least one of those. She will share later, I am sure.

Silly, you're supposed to pass your camera off to someone to take your picture! :teeth:

Amy - Your kids' faces just make me grin! They have infectious smiles (just like their parents ;))

Jennifer - Poor Kyle. I know how he feels and thought sleeping for more than a few hours at a time would never come. But it does. And you do survive. Hopefully his postpartum blues will improve soon (along with the reduction of fluid in your legs  )

Awww, thank you! :goodvibes I love their toothy grins. I spent many self-conscious years not smiling, due to my horrible teeth and braces, so I have to make up for it now! Hopefully Alyssa and Matty and Noah won't have half the teeth/mouth issues I had!

Good Morning,

Amy - Love the pics, you know my birthday is Friday, I wouldn't mind sharing with Noah!

I've got to get myself motivated to get some things done around here, starting with a trip to the grocery store, yuck. Then the neve ending pile of laundry needs to be tackled. The house needs to be cleaned, and the back yard needs to be mowed. Somewhere int eh mix I would like to go through my two closets and organize them, into clothes that fit, clothes that don't, and throw out what will never do, we'll see how much of this list I get done, especially with Brandon spending the afternoon with me.

But swim lessons aren't over on Friday! ;)

Good luck tackling your list of things to do!

Bob forgot we are going on vacation this week... :faint:

How exactly does one forget a vacation?!!! :rotfl2:

Well, I've got to get ready to go. We've got to finish packing, shower and load the car. A couple of errands to make sure Dad and Phil have the food they need next week, a quick jaunt to the library for some reading material for the week and we'll be off! Yippee!!!! I'd love to find out there is a computer I can access there, but I don't think that's the case. If not, I'll catch you all next Sunday! Have a great week!!

Have a great trip Tia! :yay:

Cleaning can wait...alone time is precious!!! :teeth:

Either choice sounds delicious to me... :lmao:

OK - I have time to myself now too. So I am choosing to go out on the patio with another cup of coffee. :goodvibes

I am going to plug info into our new GPS system so I can figure out how to use it. Wish me luck! I am not technologically challenged in the least, but this little thing is amazing. Hopefully I will figure it all out by Thursday... :rotfl2:

We had a wonderful time! :goodvibes

A slideshow...

What great pictures and a nice tour through history. I would have to take a picture of every house in our little village to make a slide show :rotfl:

We will be too! :rotfl: Our plane lands in Hartford about 8:00 a.m.

I'll wave at all the planes we see :teeth:

What wonderful photos!!!!

What a nice girl Leighanna is to comfort her friend. Not that we didn't already know that.;) LOVE her Snoopy top! Did you make the bodice or is it a T? I'm sure you appliqued the Snoopy heart.

UGH!!! Any news on the other job?:wizard:

:wizard:

Yeah for good labs! Those mini coopers look so fun. Did he get a convertable? Hope you toe isn't too bad and that you found something to eat.

 Yeah for AP w/DDP! we'll be right next to you at ASMu. I think they are starting to renovate the rooms at sports so I think you have a good chance of getting a new room.

:woohoo: Good for you going to the gym. I've been doing pretty well since I got my mind made up to actually commit to loosing weight. I started last Wed bringing my lunch to work and have done so every day since. I think I've lost about 5-6 pounds.

Wow, that is great. You lost that much weight just packing lunch imagine what you can do now that you're trying :thumbsup2

Deb-I bought Colby a little something today but want your permission before I send it to him as well it isn't so little.

They had these on clearance at my local grocery store:

http://www.orientaltrading.com/ui/b...=Cross Sell-_-Product Detail-_-Product Detail

I know he's a Doc Hudson fan but wasn't sure you had the room or desire to put up a 5 foot sticker.

Let me know what you think and if is OK if I should sent it now or wait til after your trip.

He will Asolutely love it and it might help me theme his room :thumbsup2 I'm happy to reimburse you. Just let me know. :worship:

I went back a few pages and saw LOTS of wonderful pictures! I really appreciate all the summer themed ones, considering I have no idea it's time for summer activities! :rotfl: I was just nothing but pregnant, then hospitalized.... but today we're going for a walk! Let summer begin! :yay:

Anyone care to give me important updates? Then, I am actually planning to stay quasi caught up, since I do get on the computer fairly often for brief periods of time. Alas, still no love for my Webkinz.... I was just staring at my Gem checklist, wondering how many gems I have missed ;)

Off to wake the girls for breakfast (aack, I know -- never wake a sleeping baby. :faint: I wish that were possible, but not for a few more weeks at least until they hit term!). Please keep Kyle in your prayers, if you remember. He is starting to really feel a bit stressed. Neither of us have flinched at the care of newborns, but the lack of sleep is bothering him -- mostly because he doesn't feel like himself, so he's in this strange funk. He doesn't do well on little sleep, and while the girls are actually doing great sleeping, it's not what he's used to!

Me, I might get there eventually, but I continue to get MORE sleep than I have in months, so I feel this fantastic false sense that everything is a breeze! ;) My biggest complaint is that the days just go too quickly :rolleyes1 Well, that and that my legs alone look like I have on a fat suit (we're talking "Shallow Hal" size suit here!) :rotfl:

ETA: Kyle goes back to work on Monday, too, so I'm really concerned about how he'll do trying to balance that as well!

The edema should clear soon. I know that life is so different with the kiddos in the house and having the new responsiblity is stressful. Of course you've been taking care of them for months so it isn't such a big change. Kyle will come around. Going back to work and having a schedule may make Kyle's transition a bit easier.

Bob forgot we are going on vacation this week... :faint:

He has a "field trip" at a jobsite scheduled on Thursday morning. It is 7 miles from our Park 'n' Fly hotel at BWI. He planned to drive to his office (35 miles west of here) then drive to Baltimore (about 90 miles northeast from his work and 80 miles northeast of here) then return to work and drive home that night. I told him he would have to turn around and make the trip back to Baltimore when he got home. He looked at me like this:

So, resourceful Elin came up with a plan... he can go into work and to his field meeting and stay up there. I teach until 12:30 on Thursday and Kristin and I will jump in the car and drive to Anne Arundel Mills mall to pick him up. Then we can check into our hotel earlier than we thought and relax a bit. Another upside to this is that we will miss a lot of the DC/Baltimore I-95 corridor traffic too! :thumbsup2

That quick thinking seems to have started the vacation off on a better foot :thumbsup2

Well, I've got to get ready to go. We've got to finish packing, shower and load the car. A couple of errands to make sure Dad and Phil have the food they need next week, a quick jaunt to the library for some reading material for the week and we'll be off! Yippee!!!! Have a great trip:cool1:

His excuse is that I "plan them so perfectly he never has to give them a thought."

He is full of it today. :rotfl2:

You've got to love a man that has perfected the art of being a suck up :lmao: Chris is training our boys well too

:rotfl2:

Did your family help you recover your house. I remember the mess you found when you came home :confused3

Work was suprisingly busy last night. I got home around 10:30 and all 3 of my boys wanted Mommy time. We started watching Indiana Jones and the Last Cruisade until we started falling asleep. I never did get on here last night. It is funny how my kids become more loving as our vacations approach. Lots of extra hugs and kisses and snuggle time. Sorry guys, but I will suck up every second of that over checking in here ::yes::

Chris is working this morning, but the weather is nice. I'm heading outside to see what I can accomplish.

Have a great day DDA

Today is our 45 day mark :cool1:
:woohoo:

Anne Marie - Great pics of Sophie! Good luck for all of the recitals this weekend.
Thank you! Have a great trip!

ETA: ohhhhh!!! 13,000 post and look it's a smarty pants comment....so me!!:rotfl:

They are pretty easy to use & once you have one you won't want to go anywhere without one. Enjoy your time on the patio.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Grab all those kisses & hugs when you can!!!

Katie is watching "Fans Guide to Disney" for the 1,000th time!!!

Elizabeth - Glad you made it safely and that Mom is doing well. I hope the labs came back okay and that she has a good weekend. :wizard: for surviving the time with DivaGirl.

Karen - Your dad will continue to be in my prayers for his surgery.

.

Deb - Since you'll leave before I get back, have an absolutely wonderful trip!!!!

Jennifer - I'm glad that your first day home was a good one. Enjoy it and catch up with us later, we understand!! :goodvibes Lots of prayers for you all, but especially Kyle, as you continue to adjust to your new life. I hope that your legs are doing better soon as well.

Anne Marie - Great pics of Sophie! Good luck for all of the recitals this weekend.

Denise - Hope the boys have a good party today! Sorry to hear that you definitely need surgery, but hopefully that will help you more permanently. :grouphug:

Tom - Glad you had a good time at Cedar Point. I really need to take Terra to one of those parks sometime. Maybe Knott's when we're in CA next. As big of a Snoopy fan as she is, I think it's a must.

Janet - Glad the boil order is lifted!

Debbie - Way to go on the gym! You are doing great. My boss offered on Thurs to add me to her gym membership and to pay for it if I was interested. Umm...yeah! It's the same gym I've been considering joining when they open the one close to me. There are several close to her house and soon to be one here so I'm in.

Tammi - Hope the poison ivy isn't too bad! If the coritsone isn't helping much, consider calling the dr on Monday. Cortisone doesn't often help much with poison ivy. I learned that the hard way as mine last year dragged on for weeks with little relief from the cream.

Great post---I will ditto it!!! :)

Elin, which model did you get?

I really like mine. There are so many things it can do for you. Hal was playing around with ours and trying so many options. It was fun to have him do it so I could see all it can do.

I got the Garmin 260 I wanted text to voice. It would have been nice to have a choice of voices, but this one does just fine.

Hi everyone! I hate when I've been away for very long. I try to go through things quickly and I'm sure I'll forget some, but it's not intentional.

Janet - Yay for no more boiling!

Theresa - Congrats!

Tia - have a great trip!

Amy and Tom - adorable pictures!

Bernadette and Debbie - WTG on the dieting/excersing and weight loss!

Elizabeth - Sounds like you had a rough night.

Elin - Love the slideshow you did!

What a neat slideshow! No picture of YOU though! ;)
Here you go. Sorry the first one is so dark.

Nicholas played in his very first ever baseball game this morning. He was the lead-off batter and was tagged out. The next 2 times up he had base hits, which turned into 2 runs. Plus he tagged someone out at second base. Needless to say, he had fun. They lost though, 9-7.

My poison ivy has been making me miserable. Last night I took an oatmeal bath and got some Calamine lotion, neither of which did much good. So after the baseball game I went to the pharmacist and he recommended going to the dr. to get a prescription for prednisone. I stopped at one of the urgent care clinics and ended up getting 2 shots, adrenaline and prednisone, and 2 prescriptions. I feel a bit better but still itch, which is making me very irritable about everything else. Hopefully in the next day or 2 I will see much improvement.

Oh Tom, Alyssa has her first loose tooth too.
