We had a really nice time. Cedar Point has really changed alot over the last decade. Lots of kids areas in several areas of the park. New restaurants with table service. Leighanna would love to go back again. I think next time we will stay on site and do it in a couple of days. There was an awful lot to take in on one full day!

Yeah for power, boo for broken ac's. Sorry but your boss sounds like a bonehead.

We do, but.....the power break broke 4 of our air conditioners including the office one So that means I get to be here until the repair man is done (because heaven forbid my boss have an office that is warmer than the arctic zone).

nada....i have 6 more days of work at Goddard and its hard not knwoing for sure whats happening in the fall..if im not getting a job, i wish i cuold just know so i could work on the sub stuff and plan !

Moms labs came back fine. Hopefully she will start to feel better over the weekend.

The Uncles and DS just called me - they are on their way to dinner in Uncle1's brand new Mini Cooper. Diva is out with one of our cousins, so I am sitting in her room. When my phone started ringing I ran over my toe with the desk chair. It's quite painful!

Not sure what Mom and I will do for dinner. I didn't really buy dinner stuff at the grocery because I wanted to get lunch over with and get Mom back to the lab. I doubt she will want to go out.

Anne Marie - Sophie is such a cutie, I love the way they made use of part of the same costume, they can get very expensive, as I'm sure you well know.

What about Kristine? She hasn't posted on her report in a couple of days.

So thanks to all my enabler friends here I was able to snag an AP rate for August. We did have to change to AS Sports, I hope I don't regret it. We've stayed there a few times with Cheerleading and it is ok, I was tempted to move up to a mod, but this was supposed to be a no frills, budget trip. The AP rate ended up costing me an additional $279, but that was with adding the DP and adding another day. We will now be arriving on the 12th, there goes the BUDGET!

Denise - Lots of PD for you, take care of yourself.

Jennifer - Congrats on taking your princesses home, sorry about the edema, you sure have had it rough with this pregnancy, but look at the results!

Elin and Tammi - looks like the Trolley was fun, beautiful day for it.

Tom - Yes Leighanna is growing up way too fast, she sure is a beauty.

I'm about to drop, I've made myself go to the gym everyday after work, and I try to do a little more each day. Hopefully this will also help me deal with the heat in August. TGM finally came out with best days for November and I did pretty good, but I had us having an early breakfast at MGM on the 15th, this is SSW, , so I changed it to Tusker House, we really won't have much time to do anything as our flight leaves around 1 pm, but I want to at least go to a park for a little while.

So the A/C worker came in about 1/2 hour ago and said I am done for the weekend.....HALLELUJAH!! He actually wasn't but he had a legitimate excuse (other than it was 5:30 on a Friday night) and I timed it just right to get a ride home!

Thank you, yes the costumes get expensive. This is her last year of "combo" class, next year she has to pick either jazz, ballet, or tap.

I have been looking at everything POR on the DIS. We were there in 2005 but I needed a refresher course in the resort. Funny when I showed Dana some pictures he said "we are not doing that bicycle thing right?" We did that with the 3 kids & boy it hurt!!! After walking around the park all day the last thing either of us want to do is ride a bike with 3 other stragglers along!

Leighanna loved this ride. But this was her friend's first visit to any type of amusement park. She was a little unsure of this ride. Notice the tight grip on Leighanna's hand. She did that several times throughout the day!

Yeah for AP w/DDP! we'll be right next to you at ASMu. I think they are starting to renovate the rooms at sports so I think you have a good chance of getting a new room.

Good for you going to the gym. I've been doing pretty well since I got my mind made up to actually commit to loosing weight. I started last Wed bringing my lunch to work and have done so every day since. I think I've lost about 5-6 pounds.
