Well we got a date set for Aidan and his next Cochlear Surgery. He will be operated on the 17th of July with a quick recovery hopefully. We then travel down to Galveston the following week for Mya's procedure. What an event filled month it will be for us.

All the time daddy is suppose to be looking for employment. :confused3

Fun times!

Your beautiful family continues to be in my prayers!

Sorry I have been MIA again.

I could use some extra prayers and pixie dust if you have any to spare. I know that the DDA is a powerful group, and I could use all the extra power that I can get.

Mom was admitted into the hospital last week because she fell. She also went into one of her episodes that she couldn't remember anything or anyone. We all thought that maybe she had a mini stroke. She was getting better and was due to be released on Monday morning. Around noon on Monday she took a turn for the worse, and isn't responding to anything. The doctors really don't know what is the problem. She is having another test run today. They think she might be having seizures, but are not sure. She sure doesn't look good. My brothers and I don't really want to remember mom this way.
Normally she perks back up within 24 hours or so, but she has shown no improvement. Actually she is falling deeper and deeper into a coma like state.
Sorry for the downer post. But I really need all the help I can get right now.

Tom   :grouphug: :grouphug: for you and your brothers and families

Amy I forgot to mention earlier that I love the pictures you posted! I will be thinking of you tomorrow & hoping for a safe arrival of Noah :goodvibes

my x-rays all came back fine(which is good)& I am to finish my meds & call them Monday to let them know how I am doing. I do feel a little better today, I think all that sleep helped. The pain is now in my lower back.

My manager left town for the holiday & will not be back till Wednesday, so I have to work. At least I am in the office & do not have to deal with customers.

Thank you Janet! I hope you continue to feel better. Please take it easy, when you can!

Fun times!

Lots of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for you all!

This most likely is my last post for a while (cool post count, huh?!!), unless I get that dreaded 6 a.m. call saying the hospital is full again. I'm not taking my laptop to the hospital.

Thank you all for your support, prayers, and well-wishes. :goodvibes

Jen is close to the top of my call list, but cut her some slack, since she's a little busy at home. ;)

Happy Fourth of July, everyone! Have a great weekend!

Thank you everyone for you thoughts and prayers! They are very much needed and appreciated. I had to work tonight, but we finished early. I was able to go early since Mom isn't doing so well. I will be able to spend a little more time with her tomorrow now!

Of course you had to stop at a good count, huh. Good luck tomorrow. May the phone be silent and the meds be fast.

Congratulations on the new little one to be, Debbie. Extra princess wishes coming your DD's way.

Janet, glad you're feeling better. Take it easy as much as you can.

We had a nice time tonight. I braved taking Terra, Kassie, Connor and Chase all across to the retirement home stuff on my own. They did wonderfully and got to see the petting zoo (with baby camel, llama, goats, sheep, donkey, pig, chicken and a big ol tortoise), got ice cream, bounced in the bounce house, and visited a police helicoptor, police armorred car and firetruck. The fireworks were great and we all had a nice time with the couple from Erin and Brendan's Sunday School class.

I've got no idea what tomorrow brings, but some sleep right now is sounding great. Night all should anyone still remain awake. Otherwise, good morning, DDA!

Glynis - I am throughly enjoying your TR! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Mac - Good luck to Aidan, Mya and to you. This is a momentous time for everyone in your family.

Are any of you at the Magic Kingdom July 13th? 3 Drum Corps will be marching down Main Street that day.

Fans can join three top drum corps for a change of venue and a whole lot of fun on Sunday, July 13, when the Cadets, Glassmen and Teal Sound take to the streets of Disney World's Magic Kingdom for a very special day of performances! Drum corps fans will find an abundance of spectacle and excitement as these corps march through the "Happiest Place on Earth," the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.
The Magic Kingdom corps performances will take place following the DCI Orlando Premier Event scheduled for Saturday, July 12 at 7 p.m. The Orlando Citrus Bowl, four-time home to the DCI World Championships, will play host that night to the performances of 10 top corps.

Disney has a long tradition of recognizing the great performances of drum corps, bringing corps members' talents to the thousands who walk through the Walt Disney World Resort each day. The Cadets, Glassmen and Teal Sound will celebrate the joy of marching music and show their stuff when they march in front of Cinderella Castle at 2:30 p.m., prior to the park's "Dreams Come True Parade."

Make this unique showcase of Marching Music's Major League in Disney World the perfect finish to a weekend, with the DCI Orlando event on Saturday the 12th, and Disney's special drum corps feature on the 13th! Fans can get tickets to Walt Disney World parks, including the Magic Kingdom, at DisneyWorld.com.

Good night, Tia!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY, DDA!

My alarm went off this morning and totally confused me. I knew I was off, but my alarm only goes off on weekdays. It took awhile for me to sort out that this is a holiday. Now I am wide awake!

Janet - I hope you are feeling better today.

Elizabeth - Maybe a nap is in your future? ;)

Tom - I am hoping that your Mom is doing better today.

Kristine - Are your meds kicking in today?
