DDA Chapter 9

Tell him if he just stares at James Marsden's character, he should be fine. :rolleyes1

I weatherproofed the camper a bit as some of the caulking was wore. We also put a few more things in there. I picked up a few groceries for this week and added minutes to the kids cell phones.

I rented a few movies for us to watch tonight, but the kids made arrangements to sleep at my parent's house. I guess Chris and I can watch them together. I'm sure Chris will enjoy 27 Dresses :rotfl:

The thunderstorms have been  (we had one last night) but I must say the rain has done wonders for the tree John had replanted the first year we moved in.

I know, but it is something I am very passionate about. Smoking around children, especially in cars.

Sorry to the smokers here, but that is the biggest reason for my breathing problems.

 :scared1: YOU???!?!? :rotfl:

Thanks. I love vodka and will drink it straight.

as long as I'm mixing...

If you paid by pay pal you should have no problem getting your money back. John had the same problem, paid and never received, guy had 100% to start, but while contacting the guy yet again about the item he got 3 negatives in a row.
John connected pay pal and had his money pretty quickly.

I also have been dealing with an eBay/Paypal issue.

Oh, Becky, I hope your ebay problems are taken care of soon. That is horrible! As for the GPS... I would never travel anywhere without a map and a rudimentary knowledge of where I was. I have never understood how people with GPS systems can be on the highway with know earthly idea of where they are!

Kristin is a night owl too. She would feel your pain. She has applied for a job as a bank teller for the time being, and the hours are 12-6. She is in 7th heaven at the prospect that she might really be working in the real world with hours that won't make her feel physically ill every day.

I am often in areas I do not know. But I pay attention to signs and things in case I need to go an alternate way. But often I am relying on a little box. But I have a map and try to know generally where I am so I can use said map.

I try my best to operate on the "normal" schedule. Normally my job does not fall into that category. I probably could work later each day if I would like to as well and come in later. Or this summer I can work out of the closer office as the other person who normally works there is at camp. So I could leave at 8:45am to be there before 9am. Instead of before 8am to be there by 9am.

I wish we would get the rain here. I know the Lehigh Valley and further north has had it. Even like 10 miles from here the one day had rain but we have not had it. Frankly we need rain for the plants, the ground is really dry.

I have already contacted Paypal. I also contacted the credit card company that I used to pay on Paypal. I know several others have contacted both before I had. So hopefully I will get my money back without issue.

Becky - Good luck! I think between PayPal and your CC it won't be a problem to get your money back!

Mom and I just got back in. We went to Target, then dinner at Ruby Tuesday's, then Baskin Robbins, then PetsMart. We mostly talked about Diva. I told Mom AGAIN that Diva needs counseling because her perception of reality is so far off. Obviously Diva won't listen to me, and she doesn't listen to Mom. We need a third party to tell Diva she needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

Elin - Did I tell you I enjoyed your pics? I can't remember. Anyway, I enjoyed your pics! :goodvibes

The kids are at my parent's and I think that Mom and Dad are ready for vacation too. Chris and I watched 27 dresses, I liked it and he didn't say much :rotfl2: I did make a crock pot dessert that was yummy so he was happy about that.

Chris and my brother are going to cut some trees down tomorrow as they want to start cutting the wood that we will need for this winters heating. The sooner the trees are cut the dryer the wood will be. I'm praying that they don't get injured, They never have, but with vacation this close I can't help but worry.

Deb - I hope the tree cutting goes smoothly tomorrow too. :goodvibes

Let's see what I can remember:

Elin-great pics once again

Denise-glad the parties were a success...if I had the alcohol I would have joined you all in the drinks (more as to why in a sec)

Tammi-I am quite impressed with Nicholas's first bball game!!

Elizabeth-I am glad you had alone time with your momma.

Deb-You all fill your days with stuff that tire the heck out of me just reading!!:wizard: That nobody hurts themselves.

So I didn't wake anybody up...but I putzed in our little garden...somebody smashed down our garden a couple of weeks ago so we have nothing right now but our first strawberries:goodvibes

We then ran and got a birthday present and Jim went to talk to Taco Bell manager about knocking some of his hours as they are overworking him there.
Next was going to my office and picking up the recycling containers where Jim backed up into what can be best described as a pillar:headache: . We so didn't need to have to pay the deductible on this!! Espescially since I know at least 5 other cars have backed up into this deceptive spot and the Board of Trustees has been repeatedly asked to put some sort of warning there. :headache: :headache:

Called our agent (love our State Farm lady) and headed to the party and then home so Cassidy could babysit the same little guy Abi had her first paying job babysitting last night....my babies are growing up:(

I swear it's baby steps forward and then we get smacked back. :headache:

It seems all I have been doing is venting...I am sorry.

This should probably be taped to your bathroom mirror
where one could read it every day.
You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.

1. There are at least two people in this world
that you would die for.

2. At least 15 people in this world
love you in some way.

3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you
is because they want to be just like you.

4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone,
even if they don't like you.

5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you
before they go to sleep.

6. You mean the world to someone.

7. You are special and unique.

8. Someone that you don't even know exists, loves you.

9. When you make the biggest mistake ever,
something good comes from it.

10. When you think the world has turned its back on you
take another look.

11. Always remember the compliments you received.
Forget about the rude remarks.

And always remember....
when life hands you Lemons,
ask for Sugar and call me over!

Good friends are like stars.
You don't always see them,
But you know they are always there.

I would rather have one rose and a kind word
from a friend while I'm here
than a whole truckload when I'm gone.

Happiness keeps You Sweet
Trials keep You Strong
Sorrows keep You Human
Life keeps You Humble
Success keeps You Glowing

Hope you get rain soon. :wizard:

I wish we would get the rain here. I know the Lehigh Valley and further north has had it. Even like 10 miles from here the one day had rain but we have not had it. Frankly we need rain for the plants, the ground is really dry.
