Gotta run to the store for diapers (like, today

) so this won't be a long post. I hope you all are doing well!
Deb, thanks for stopping in! I can't wait to hear more about your vacation and see your pictures! I hope you all aren't melting!
Tom, continued prayers for your mom.
All of you getting Wii fit are really going to push me over the edge

I don't have the money though, if I want to stay with these girls! Stop it!
Elizabeth, I said an extra prayer for your family for peace yesterday. I'm sorry to hear the news wasn't great, but I hope that having a plan going forward is comforting, and that they can keep things under control as much as possible.
All this tonsil talk makes me chuckle, and I must make a confession about my own .... ignorance? Lack of common sense? When I was about 3, there was some "open house" or something at a new hospital nearby. There was a kids program where you could tour the hospital, etc. I remember very clearly (and have pictures, etc) of me and my doll - in matching outfits, no less - lying in a hospital bed, ID bracelet and all, eating popsicles. When I was about 14, I told someone I had had my tonsils out and my mom said, "Um... no you didn't". I recalled to her the entire story, pulled out the pictures and the ID band, argued with her, and was completely adamant that we were at the hospital that day for a tonsillectomy. Of course, she just had me open my mouth (mind you, I was always a fairly intelligent child, book-wise

), pointed out my tonsils (still intact) and embarrassed the snot out of me in front of whomever I was talking to at the time.

Since then, my ENT has prompted me to get them removed because they make me sick all the time, as well as get tonsiloliths (stones) all the time, etc. Everytime it comes up, I am a little embarrassed all over again, and my mom never lets me live it down.
Off to run some errands while the girls are not starving. Ooh - speaking of which (seriously, what happened to the short post), they are both growing so well! Elise is up to 7lb, 13oz and Avery is up to 6lb, 11oz. How are they getting so big so quickly?!

Still, I suppose we're thrilled!
Take care, DDA!
