How is the book coming? I love the Harry Potter books! I wish I could find something that keeps my attention as much as those did. The first three chapters of the first book were slow reading for me. I wasn't sure I would be able to read the whole thing. Once I got into the 4th chapter, I was one of those crazy people that read until 2 or 3 in the morning - which is unheard of for me.
I've read the first 2 chapters, Nicholas the first. I might get another chapter done tonight, if I stay off the Dis.

I just finished looking at Vicki's photopass pictures. Seeing her sister and niece and nephew reminded me of me and my two, except her kids are a few years older. The kids look like they are having such a fun time, it brought tears to my eyes, after all they have been through. I loved the HSM pictures. And they have photopass photographers at the waterparks taking pictures of you in the water? I didn't know that. Cool!

They did have a wonderful time. There weren't very many tantrums by my niece which was good. She has frequent ones at home. The counselor has said that she has regressed quite a bit since she was scheduled to testify. We are hoping that once she gets through this and she never has to tell another living soul, that she won't ever regress again.

My nephew got past several of his own fears on this trip. I was quite proud of him. He rode several roller coasters and loved them. He doesn't like fireworks because his dad was burned by one as a kid. We were walking down Main Street when the fireworks from the stage show went off and he shouted "Mom, I didn't even have my ears covered!"

Yes, the water parks take photopass pictures as well. You get a photopass card on a stretchy bracelet cord that you can wear in the park.

Mom made this for us:

I love the sampler your Mom made.
I love the quilt that has been in Grandma's Closet for 6 years:rotfl:
cute favors.

my brother would love your gift. He was very happy that Dale Jr won yesterday.

We bought Jeff a new back pack to use at WDW

When Deb and I went to the race at Loudon NH, Toyota gave us a clear plastic back-pack. It's great for getting through security:thumbsup2

Chris - Happy Father's Day!

Would you do me a favor and ask Colby and Hunter which do they prefer, BB or TL? They are closest to my kids ages (8 and 6) and I'm trying to decide which water park would be best.

I don't think you could have picked a better time for this trip!

Vicki - did you guys go to bother water parks, or just one?

They both picked BB. They love the zip line and life guard training camp! Hunter also likes Summit Plummit
But I remember it didn't hold up well in the rain.

Definitely not water proof, But fast through security

Chanon the quilt is beautiful! Love all of your gifts :thumbsup2

Thank you! I had planned on BB but then the shark reef sounded interesting, but not interesting enought that you just swim across and that's it.

Kirsten got all geared up for this...gets into the water and says, "you mean there are fish in here right now?? she then immediately got out :rotfl:

I can scan it for you if you are interested.

We'd love to see it if you have time to scan it. If you don't have time don't worry we'll do what we can when we get there.

I doubt Chuck and I will ever do another trip in June-August. Chuck now understands why Chris and the boys wear their swimsuits all day. :lmao: It was so hot.

:rotfl: :rotfl:
We keep trying to tell our family not to wear denim shorts, but I have a feeling that they won't listen. Apparently my SIL hasn't even started packing yet :faint:

Deb, you look fantastic! (I haven't gone back anywhere, sorry, but saw a picture quoted).

Please, when I get back, let me know what I've missed since I feel like I have no idea what is going on anywhere outside of my own house, let alone all around the DDA! :rotfl:

We'll be leaving by 5 at the latest tomorrow, so I won't check in then... but I have given Amy permission to post anything I send her way (or anything she finds searching on the internet, if she so chooses to hunt me down should I be too slow ;)).

Take care! :goodvibes

Our best thoughts and safest/healthiest prayers are with you :wizard:

Don't forget the frozen marguaritas :rolleyes1

But I remember it didn't hold up well in the rain.

How soon they forget :rolleyes1 That bag is not on my WDW approved list now. he will be using it for the race though.

Apparently I do! :thumbsup2 Black or tan? That seems to be the only two options... unless I haven't looked far enough yet.

I missed part of this. Are they for your wedding dress? Then tan would go well with the ivory dress.

Thank you! I had planned on BB but then the shark reef sounded interesting, but not interesting enought that you just swim across and that's it.

The shark reef is great, but Hunter had trouble with the snorkel and Colby wasn't tall enough to even try.
