He is a quick photo of the new hairdo.

Deb, you're a hot momma! You are super skinny!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the :wizard: for BIL. He and his family left for Florida this morning...their first vacation in 3 years, so I hope they have a great time, even though they aren't going to WDW (Blasphemy! :rotfl: ).

Dave and Busters was fun. Alyssa won enough tickets to buy a pink poodle purse for herself and a Care Bear for Matty. She did better on those games than the games at Chuck E. Cheese! :teeth:

This morning was church, and we're going to grill steaks for lunch. It's a beautiful day, though the pesky cicadas are still here, so we're going to go to Kings Island after naptime, where it's cicada-free! Matty's not quite tall enough to ride many of the kids' rides yet, so please keep your fingers crossed that he doesn't pitch too many fits.

Swim lessons start tomorrow. I can't believe we're halfway through June already!

Hope everyone has a great day! :wave2:

Have fun today! Luckily we don't have the cidadas this far north! Although, a few other pesky intruders have been around!

We are heading to Cedar Point on Wednesday.
Leighanna is 47 inches tall, maybe 47 1/2 with shoes on. She SO wants to ride a coaster like she can at WDW, but most of them at Cedar Point have height requirements of 48".
We are taking her friend too, who is 49" tall. I hope we do not have any meltdowns there.
It has been a long time since we have visited Cedar Point, and this is Leighanna's first time.
Hopefully Camp Snoopy will keep her entertained enough to keep her mind off of the "Mega Coasters"!:scared1: But for my "thrill seeking" daughter, I just don't think so!

I don't know if I'm more anxious for July for the birth of my son or the death of the cicadas! :rotfl:

Have fun at Cedar Point! Cedar Point will always be my favorite park, since I grew up on Lake Erie. They do have three kids' areas now, and even though Leighanna isn't tall enough for the real Gemini, hopefully the Jr. Gemini and the Snoopy Rollercoaster will keep her satisfied. Eat some Elephant Ears for me, please! :)

Beth, I can't believe you STILL haven't told Laura about the trip! :faint:

Friday! I have come close so many times. This way all her school work will be done, and she'll have only one exam left. I'm leaving it up to her whether we tell Miles or just wake him up one morning and head to the airport.

Elin you know Chris too well. He loved it. He wanted to know if you knew what kind of truck that was :rotfl: He promises to pop in later, I'm sure he'll enlighten us all. :thumbsup2

I know it is a Ford... late 40s? Bob's grandfather had one.

Your hair looks great, by the way!

Jennifer and Kyle...

We can't wait to meet them either!

Kristin told me last night that she would love to go to WDW for her birthday in August. I could do it for $1000 plus food. Now, if only I could figure out how to come up with an additional $1000 during the time of year I barely get a paycheck...

Well, I (for one) am more anxious for the birth of your son! :rotfl2:

Cedar Point was our family destination many summers when I was a kid. I grew up in Brighton about 40 miles out of Detroit. We went about 10 years ago with my kids since my sister lives within an hour of there. Chuck and the girls aren't real roller coaster enthusiasts (like my family was when I was growing up) so it was no big deal to them.

Chuck & I made it home about 8pm last night. Uneventful flight for us. The girls had an interesting experience on their way home on Thursday. They ended up in Detroit for at least 6 hours. Due to someone getting sick on the inbound flight to Orlando, their initial flight was delayed so that they missed their connection by just a few minutes (it was still on the ground but already closed up). They got on the next flight scheduled for 3 hours later but that kept getting delayed because bad weather delayed their flight crew. They finally got in to Green Bay around 2:30 am. We had them stay in a motel down there for the night.

My sister called and told me that they had separated her, mom and the kids on the flight. They were all in totally different places on the plane. I don't know what happened as our resident travel agent helped me get seats for them together. I haven't heard back from her but I told her to tell the flight attendant that she had been separated from her kids and they can usually get someone willing to volunteer to move so that they can be together. I sure hope that happened. I can't imagine my 7 year old niece and 10 year old nephew sitting separately on the plane. My girls wouldn't want to sit separately.
