Food Network has an "Unwrapped" show on WDW food. It is not new, but fun, nonethless.

DS watched that with me. I had to keep telling him it was an OLD show. When it was over we saw it was filmed in 2003.

Work was busy tonight, but I was the hostess so I didn't profit from it It was nice to see the place full though. I'm holding out hope for the future

Hopefully the crowds will pick up a bit for your next waitressing shift!

The board meeting is wednesday--so hopefully it will be on the website thursday!

Lindsay - The rental car would need to be from Alamo, because we want to pick it up and return it at the Dolphin. Going through the Sam's website I got it down to $475 for an SUV for 11 days. We don't need an SUV but they are having some sort of sale on them. And with an SUV we can move all of our own luggage in one trip. But if we're only at SSR for 6 nights we don't want to mess with a car. We'll only rent a car if we do 10 nights at SSR. So we'll wait a bit more on AP rates and see what happens with Mom's surgery and try to decide on it later.

Janet - Thanks! I would hate to leave DH and DS at WDW while I go off to Kansas, but better to acknowledge it as a possibility.

Thanks everyone for the comments on the cake!! I have 3 more to make over the next 2 weeks of which one I will get paid for. I wonder if the Ace of Cakes (their cakes are a minimum of $500 ) is hiring?!?

Tammi- the soccer ball is covered in fondant, I cut out the pieces and matched them up.

Deb- I cheated and used premade fondant, it's called Satin Ice. I want to make some but just didn't have the time.

Hey Robyn... wanna bring all your summer kidlets down to ride our carriage ride? Only $5 a child and $15 per adult.

I went ahead and reserved and SUV for the trip. $446 for 10 days. I will watch and see if the rates go down. All of the specials they have right now expire at the end of June. Since we didn't have to pay a deposit on it or anything I can cancel it if we decide we don't need it.

Well, our severe alerts are over, but it still looks pretty bad in your area, Heidi.

I didn't know that you were having severe weather. It's probably better that I didn't. Matthew was camping with the Scouts at Hickory Run State Park in PA last night, and I never even thought about bad weather. I hope that they didn't have any.

I just ordered 27 Dresses on PPV. Don't get all chatty on me now.

We stumbled on this last night, and the kids and I loved it. I'm pretty sure that I have seen it before. It was kind of fun knowing that we'd be back in August, and really hard not to tell the kids! I think I'm telling Laura on Friday when she and I are alone.

I finished Joe's shirt:

That looks terrific!!! I used to love to sew, but I don't think anyone here would wear anything that I could make.

So with all of the talk about Garden Grill, I added it to our ADRs in August. We will have an early lunch there the day of our departure. This will be new for us.

We went in 1998 and 2002 for dinner and loved it. Unfortunately, dh had to leave the 2002 dinner early because of motion sickness. We went to the ice cream social in 2004, and he did make it through that, though just barely. I'm pretty sure that I can't get him back in there, so we are also going in August, since he won't be there. I hope it's as good as it used to be. The booths on the lower level are the best, but we probably won't get one with just the three of us.
