Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

Mr. Sun is shining bright and clear this morning, but it is sitll in the mid 40s here. I WILL TAKE IT! My spirit is brightened just by sitting near the patio doors!!

I'm sorry to read about all the flooding issues!

Chanon, your favors look neat and your menu sounds great.

Elizabeth, congratulations!!!

Kristine, I hope you find some back relief soon.

Bernadette and Janet, welcome home!

I hope spring finds the way back soon. I don't think we'll be swimming Memorial Day weekend, unless we get a real warm-up!

Great post to ditto!

Hi, everyone. I know I've kind of dropped off the face of the DIS for a while, but I wanted to stop in and let you know that I'm ok. Things are really hectic, here right now.

We're right in the middle of the end of school process. I'm in charge of one area of our school's major fundraiser, and it's taking up a ton more time than I thought it would. Luckily, that will be over one week from today, so I should have more time after that. Add to that, some projects I'm working on that need to be finished before I leave for London, shopping for clothes for Katie and me for the London trip, and dealing with morning sickness are taking up all my time.

On top of all that, Alan's mother ran off and got married, and it's sent the family into some major turmoil. Alan and I are on her bad list, since we told her in no uncertain terms that our kids will not be calling this new husband (#6) "grandpa." In fact, they will have limited to no contact with him at all until we see if this relationship will last longer than 9 months! Grrr, it makes me very angry!!!!!

Anyway, I wanted to stop in and let you all know I'm alright, just incredibly busy. If there is anything I need to know, please PM me and let me know! I promise that after next Monday I'll be able to spend more time here! I can't wait!!! I miss you all incredibly!
:wizard: for you all!

Congratulations!

I have no idea what my weight is but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I bought a size 6 jeans.
And they fit :thumbsup2 :woohoo: :yay: :dance3:  :cool1:

My 2 weeks of recitals begin tonight. I have 23 to get through, but they are very spread out. We'll see how I like this situation, since normally they are compacted into about 10 days.

I hope the sun is out in your neck of the woods today (although I heard mention of snow in the Colorado area?!?!?) and that you all have great mornings. :goodvibes

Oh, no. There won't be any "late". We need to be ON THE BUS no later than 7:30 AM for an 8 AM opening, 8:30 AM for a 9 AM opening. So if we are hoofing to the CS thing for breakfast at 6:30 AM then it is what it is!

Ditto! Sorry - I have been a bit scattered today and didn't say that earlier!

Thank you!

:rotfl: I think she meant if you come back from a park late at night and have to wait for the very last stop to get to your room. I'm :rotfl: , though, because you sound just like me.

:welcome: home Elizabeth! I think you're going to love OKW. I called right at the 7 month mark and asked for a villa near the HH. The waitlist just came through. I got my paperwork today. When I was there the first time, I was in a building that was the last bus stop. It was fine! I could watch Illuminations from my balcony. It was right at a bus stop and had a pool and a hot tub. We loved it. The only reason I asked to be close to HH this time is when we were in the GV, if we missed the bus, we could scurry over to HH and catch the bus there. I had the entire family last time, and they walked over to HH to get DVD's from the Community Hall and liked being near the main pool and the boat to DTD. I can't wait to get back there in October.:goodvibes

Yay for a smaller size!

Terry - Yay for you, too! :cool1:

Lindsay - Thanks for the tutorial on room inventory! :) I am cool with OKW. Now I need to figure out the best way to do those remaining 6 nights. I am HOPING for an AP rate, but since the ones that are out right now are terrific that means the ones for my dates will be crummy.

Also terrific news!

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

I'm glad you have sun today. Good luck with the recitals.

Congrats on DVC -- I'm so jealous... but terribly excited for you! :goodvibes Here's hoping you get that good AP rate.

Stephanie -- Hi there! Your post brought a huge smile to my face. (and many others) How's the new baby?

Kristine -- I hope your back is better today. Sending PD to you! :wizard:

Andrew got pegged by a fastball last night in the first inning of his game. Unlike me, he has no fat on his body, so it made a huge goose egg. I'm proud of him, because he didn't back out the next two at-bats and had hits. Of course, the first baseman was playing back in the grass and jumped up and grabbed one of them. Andrew just sent me a pic of the bruise (I leave before they are up) and it looks really painful and swollen. They play the team with some of his select team on it tonight, so any spare PD for confidence for him would be appreciated.

Elin -- I'll ditto you wish for sunny skies for everyone today! :)

Terry...size 6??!! You SKINNY MINNIE you!!!!!

Back is still bad....the worst part is that I need Bill to help me all the time...the togetherness may kill me!!

Lindsay...glad you were able to book the cash rate at 11 months as well...I was beginning to think I hallucinated the entire thing.

Guess I need to make a few designs, huh? I just can't seem to hide anywhere. :rotfl:The cruise thread has been a killer....I think I will do a few more and then close shop until the trip is over.

:cool1: :cool1: What a great feeling:cool1: :cool1:

Can I be you when I grow up? I'd love to be a size 6 or even an 8 again :rolleyes1

I have tonight off so I'm really hoping to get some things done around here today. I need to pay bills and pick up. I just can't seem to motivate myself to work around the house on days when it's 38 degrees. Where is Spring? I also need to run a few errands while Colby is at school.

We ordered a cap for Chris' truck yesterday and that will take a couple of weeks to come in. He is also working on an appointment to have the bed rhinocoated. Hopefully those will be the only modifications that he will do to this one.

Good morning, DDA!!! Day one on the job went pretty well. I rearrange the pantry during nap time so now I'm happy with the kitchen. ;) Momboss told me to feel free to do what I want with the kitchen and I needed to see what food was there since I didn't make the menu and shopping list and need to try and make 2 weeks of meals from that stuff. The older 2 will be gone the first two weeks after they move so I'll only have the baby. During that time I have the choice of unpacking the kitchen on my own or at least labeling the cabinets, etc and deciding where I want everything stored since I'll have 90% of the kitchen use.

We're headed to the liberry today for an Eric Carle program. Terra has been looking forward to it for almost a month. Now if it could just quit pouring down rain before I have to get 3 kids into the library.

I'm behind once again as Momboss can't get decent internet at this house. Thus, I may be behind a lot for the next couple of weeks until they get to the new house.

Elizabeth - Sounds like congrats are in order for your purchase! Totally jealous, but that's really great!!

:wave2: everyone!!!

Ain't that just the greatest feeling? :cool1: :woohoo:
