so as you guys know, my brother and i are pretty close in age--were 20 months apart...we fight, but its usually playfully--i think we get along well for a brother/sister..
Today, hes surprised me twice. First, my family went to a communion party and as he was leaving, he gve me a little hug--he NEVEr hugs me..at all..so it was sweet--even my mom was surprised.
Then, i was just sitting here and he asked if i wanted to go with him to get gas in his new motorcycle...he just got it last week and i hadnt been on it yet--it was awesome--we were laughing and joking the entire time

I know its litlte stuff,b ut it just made me feel closer to my brother--we play fight all the time and hes never serious so it was nice today :

jen my younger brother and i are that close in age. i know he loves me and we get along great but he had never really showed it until i was sick 2 years ago. and now he will come give me a hug or come and pat my arm to say he is sorry im up set or little things like that. just recently i was wearing my white eyelet dress and he told me i looked pretty. BROTHERS ARE AWESOME!

It's always nice to get rid of things you no longer need or use, not one of my favorite jobs though lol

I told Gary the other day that I do not think I have anything left now that we don't need or use, really amazing

I took my last load to Goodwill yesterday

I have no idea why i had the urge to clean today--but im glad its done!

Anne Marie - I can't even manage to finish the laundry we accumulated over the past week being HOME.

I completely forgot to buy milk at the store. DH just went to get some. DS says his stomach hurts, which is kind of odd. It must be true, because DH was going to take him outside to play catch or take him to the batting cages and now DS doesn't want to go.

I'm not caught up and have things I need to get done, but I thought I'd give you an update on Colby. I was correct, he has hand, foot and mouth disease. It is a coxsackie virus. It should pass on it's own in about a week. It could get worse between now and then, but so far he isn't at all uncomfortable. He is napping now though

I know nothing of this disease. Off to do some research. that it passes quickly and doesn't get any worse.

So you think this time of year was more crowded than August? That gives me hope!

I think with having littles ones who qualify for the kids meal pricing, the DDP is the way to go, because it is so cheap for them. Why did you opt not to get it this time? Just curious, because we were considering not getting it for August, but I think we would pay more in the long run, too.

Yes, I think it would probably be worth it if the children are under 10. We looked at it for our trip with my sister but the cost for my nephew since he is 10 just isn't worth it. My girls also don't eat enough either but I would have done it if I thought it would have ended up for my sister.

Tammi I must have missed your post. Are you looking for shorts for Nicholas? What kind. I've been on about every site with boys shorts so maybe I can help
