Yep, the pool. Daily. I'll probably take the time to catch up on stuff around the house, and I'd like to put the kids in a week-long summer camp. There is a sports one for Nicholas and a drama one for Alyssa.

I dropped off our check at the bank to lock in the rate so hopefully that is all taken care of. I'll call the lawyer on Monday to set up the closing.

Work was really good. Dartmouth College is in the next town over and it was apparently Parent's weekend. We were much busier than we had been. I waited on 41 people That couldn't have come at a better time. Maybe someone will call in tomorrow night and I will get to work

I had the weirdest dream about DS. Now I am WIDE awake. I was at WDW with him, and we were riding BTMRR. The CM said we (our whole train) had been chosen for the extended version with bonus features. The "bonus" was that it went upside down! The ride kept stopping so they could talk about how each section was developed. There was a phone in each seat, so DS picked up the phone to call DH. I got mad because there was a HUGE charge to use the phones. The CM assured me that the phones were set to only make calls within California, so it was fine. Then she had DS move across to a "special" seat. At the next stop they drenched him with water. He was soaked! He was angry and freezing and humiliated, and I felt like it was my fault. The CM saw how upset he was and radioed for someone to have a dry shirt for him at the end of the ride. I told him we would go back to the hotel so he could change and have some lunch, then I woke up. Bizarre.

Joe would HATE that! He doesn't like getting wet on BTMRR at the begining.

It is raining here again. Cold and rainy is not a great way to start the weekend. I'm so envious of the upcoming trips. It is with great jeolousy that I say:

I purchased the rest of our flights for our Aug. trip, they were on sale for $99! The 4th & the 6th were both on sale, but I decided to go with arriving on the the 6th. This still gives us nine nights, now I need to decide if I want to stay with PC or try CSR. Money wise PC is a better choice, But I like the looks of CSR. I am really hoping that an AP rate comes out, this would help!

I have all of our ADR's made, still not decided on the DP yet either.

Our official dates are Aug. 6th - 15th

Yesterday when I bought our tickets to Dallas the flights were nonstop. Today we have a stop in Atlanta and our departure times have changed by an hour and a half earlier going and 3 hours earlier leaving. I hope they change the schedule again.

Well....

who: family and our chosen family (that's here in Littleton...though if anybody is in the area come join us )

what: chick fil a (a couple of chicken trays, sweet tea and lemonade), fruit and veggie tray. 3 customized desserts (my BF makes everybody whatever their hearts desire for their birthday): carrot cake, marble cake and cheesecake bites.

where: grandparents patio

when: next saturday afternoon/evening

We'll go by Costco today to see if they have the Disney party packs still if not I will pick up princess items for party ware!!


We are now going to stimulate the economy with a little of our stimulus check (most is going into trying to save the house). Abi has grown so much in the last month that nothing fits her anymore So we need to cover the belly until the end of the school year and then summer clothes!! (she hates shopping!!)

so as you guys know, my brother and i are pretty close in age--were 20 months apart...we fight, but its usually playfully--i think we get along well for a brother/sister..
Today, hes surprised me twice. First, my family went to a communion party and as he was leaving, he gve me a little hug--he NEVEr hugs me..at all..so it was sweet--even my mom was surprised.
Then, i was just sitting here and he asked if i wanted to go with him to get gas in his new motorcycle...he just got it last week and i hadnt been on it yet--it was awesome--we were laughing and joking the entire time

I know its litlte stuff,b ut it just made me feel closer to my brother--we play fight all the time and hes never serious so it was nice today :

How nice!

And if it gets too hot, you know where to put the ice cubes!

Almost forgot about that advice!

I called the pediatrician today and actually spoke to the doctor. The lyme test and chicken pox test were both negative but the tick was a deer tick so she wants me to continue with the antibioitic.

I'm all set to go. Better get to bed as we're leaving the house at 6:45am.

I want to take a picture and cut out everything inside the Mickey head. So that when I get done I have a Mickey head of the picture. Similar to the same thing that people do with the bubble letter names. I can't remember all the steps.

Open a new document. Insert a Mickey Head shape. Make sure to magic erase any area around the Mickey Head so you have a solid mickey head shape. In a separate window open your photo. click on the photo and ctrl c to copy. Now click on the mickey head to make it active. Go to the top bar and select edit. scroll down to paste and it will give another drop down. Either past to selection or fit to selection. That should do it

I'm glad everything was negative. The antibiotics are a good idea. Better to be safe than sorry.



Colby has some sort of rash at the moment. Lots of red bumps, but it doesn't look like chicken pox. He also has something in his mouth that resembles a white head. The rash does not seem to bother him and doesn't itch. I'll probably try to get him seen tomorrow as all the deaths in China have me a little gun shy. Hand, foot and mouth disease is the cause there and this could be it. Hopefully it's just the mild not to dangerous version here It could be something completely different. I have no idea.

Deb - Hand, foot & mouth is VERY painful. He would probably have a sore throat at the very least. Are the palms of his hands & the soles of his feet blistered or peeling? It is probably a good idea for the Dr. to look at him. Hopefully it is just a viral thing.

I guess if you add the 2 weeks at Memorial Day to the 2 weeks in August I sort of have a month off. I really hope they can schedule my mom's surgery for the time that Princess is with her grandparents so I don't end up taking off even more time. My bosses would be fine with it, but if the surgery isn't until the second week of June I will have trouble juggling DS because the Uncles will be in Alaska.
