Speaking of babies, Bob's sister Julie is pregnant with the first the family has had since her!

We went to a Quinceaneras (15 years) Party for one of Kathrin's friends. It was amazingly elaborate. Much like a bat mitzvah.

Those parties are HUGE here. I mean HUGE. The parties are as elaborate as weddings. Think of it kind of like a Bar Mitzvah or a Super Sweet 16 party, but for Hispanic girls turning 15.

That explains why I haven't heard about them. We have a very, very small Hispanic population in the U.P.

I am really getting so very excited about the cruise part of our trip. DECEMBER is toooooo far away!!!!!

DH's best friend (the one who died in the car crash) has a niece who is a year older than DS. I fully expect her to have a HUGE Quincenera, but they may have it in Mexico instead of here. Her brother has been in the honor court several times for girls from school, but I didn't know there was choreography involved! I will have to tease him the next time I see him!

Our school district is over 80% Hispanic so I am sure there will be some BIG parties when DS gets to high school. But since he is afraid of girls he might not be involved!

I took a 2 1/2 hour nap after works today, I will probably be up all night now. But I am officially off work till I return from my trip

Gary's face is still swollen some, hopefully it will go down soon. I still have my head cold, but I am hopeful that come Monday I will feel almost 100%
